About this listen

A sweet, lighthearted romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Pippa Grant about one social media influencer’s dream of going off the grid and the IRL love she finds along the way.

Secrets always catch up with you. The world knows me as Tavi Lightly, sugar-free social media influencer. But my true purpose lies in secretly restoring a cacao farm in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, to save the farm, I need access to the trust fund that my grandmother has frozen. She’s requiring me to do charity work in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, and until I meet her ultimatum—no trust fund. So to Tickled Pink I go.

My first grandmother-approved charity project? Helping local reformed bad boy Dylan Wright. He has secrets too, like how he’s hung up on his married best friend. Kick-starting his dating life is as easy as making him famous through association with me.

Not so easy is the fact that we’re falling for each other. He belongs in Tickled Pink, and I belong on my farm. We might share our secrets with one another, but can we really share our lives too?

Story: 5 ⭐️
Steam: 3.5 🔥 only a couple scenes but they’re descriptive

Ugh I loved this book 🥹 It was so dang cute from start to finish. I loved it even more than book one and I sincerely hope that we are getting a story for Carter and maybe even one for Lola… or even them together 😏 fingers crossed!

However, the word twitch is used A LOT. Like 32 times to be exact 😂

This story will have you laughing!!

We met the wealthy Knightly family in book 1…the family had their respective trust funds frozen by the matriarch so they could learn to be good people. In order to release those funds, the family has to spend one year in the small town of Tickled Pink. To most of the world, and her family, Tavi Knightly, is a bit of an airhead…an Influencer, who eschews the horrors of meat and sugar. Unbeknownst to her family, Tavi and her best friend have bought a cacao farm in Costa Rica and are working on their chocolate production…oh, and she loves hamburgers, and has a crush on the plumber…if only he wasn’t with someone. Dylan Wright is the only plumber in town and a good guy. He pines for his best friend, the one who got away. So when he learns of her big secret, he goes on a bender and is found by Tavi. The pair become friends, with Tavi planning on setting Dylan on the right course for business and love. Of course, the chemistry between them won’t allow for anyone else. Lots of drama, and knee slapping moments…and romance. Really cute story.

Better than chocolate!

You never go wrong with a Pippa book, and the story of Tavi and Dillion is another in the collection of excellent books. You'll laugh, maybe cry, cheer, and overall smile with every chapter.

Starts off slow and wandering

I almost put this one down. That would have been a first for me and a Pippa Grant story. I’d read the book in the series that came before too. Not giving up I put it on a faster speed and around chapter 10, things got better. Still there were parts that left me wondering what purpose they served. Still, I particularly liked our hero, our heroine, well she takes a long while to find her way, and I am happy they get their HEA.

OK but the family is pretty awful!

3.5 Stars for me.

I really hated the family and wished that the h had started her improvement journey earlier. The other thing that authors do that drive me insane is the that the H's donate their salaries to charities to offset doing vapid things. In this case, the h was in desperate need of money to fund her hidden chocolate company yet gave away the money that would have funded it.

I enjoyed seeing the H on multiple occasions putting grandma in her place. It would have been nice to see more backbone in the h.

I still love PG stories but this was not one of my favorites. The last 30 minutes bumped the story from 2.75 to 3.5 Stars for me.
