A fun ride all the way to the end

Great writing , interesting characters, excellent narration.
I have read or listened to all of the " Eagles of the Empire" books and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Simon Scarrow is a talented story teller .

Gonna miss Cato and Macro
Outstanding series. Great parallel between story and history of the Roman campaign in Britannia. Excellent overall story and battle action. No finer pair of soldiers than Cato and Macro.
