I got this book back in 2019 and enjoyed it then. Got to listen to it this time and still enjoyed it. The following is a review from back then that still is valid. The Found series is now my favorite. I know that the last book was written in 2015. But it could have been more than three books. Also haven't read the other two just yet. But am hooked on this one. Kali has been kidnapped and was under going horrendous torture. She didn't know why. She was just a school teacher. Noah and his special team were sent in to rescue her. Things were not as they seemed. Both of them were part of the Found. A select group of people who were found around the world. Each having a special ability for good. When things start falling together they get together with others to combat an evil plan. Will they get their own happy ending? Or will evil over take all?

Love this series

I love this series. I have already read it, but now have audible also. The audible version is just as good!

Really enjoyed the story

Perfect balance of paranormal and modern life to be interesting. Caitlyn did a wonderful job of letting the reader get to know the characters and develop a relationship with therm. This was my first ever Caitlyn O’Leary book and I’m all set to finish the series.

I loved it and want more.

Engaging characters and situations. I was caught up in the story from the beginning and was surprised when it ended. I just wanted it to continue with the stories of the other found children. I wanted more follow-up on Joe's story. There were still bad guys out there to be found and brought to justice. Please bring us more on these found children all grown up now and having children of their own.

THIS REVEALED A GREAT STORY & A PARANORMAL ROMANCE

One day, over 20 years previously, naked children with no memories suddenly and mysteriously appeared all over the world - they were soon all adopted but they each had unique abilities and individual 'gifts' and these children were called The Found. Kelly (aka Kali) was one of those children but now she's an adult... and the book starts off with her being tortured and experimented on by a Group of heartless and sadistic people who are trying to find answers and push her boundaries.... but sadly she's now close to death.

However, this jump starts some memories of 'before' and also opens up a connection with Sam (aka Noah) - another 'Found' person and he's a highly decorated part of an elite Naval Task Force who take on dangerous rescue missions. Noah suddenly feels the connection and pull of a mysterious woman who he must save... before it's too late. And this series of events rekindles a long forgotten friendship that was started before Kali and Noah 'arrived' here and it's obvious from the start that they are meant to be together... and to be each other's everything. So their chemistry is instant, their feelings for each other are deep, protective and all consuming... and the sex is hot.

But apart from the romance element to the story there is also the introduction to this mysterious 'Found' race of beings and along the way you'll encounter a few others too - and the storyline describes some unexplained disappearances of a few of its members. Members who have been kidnapped or gone into hiding to escape the many different Organizations who have their own nasty agendas for wanting to capture, breed or experiment on The Found. And, as the story progresses, new abilities are discovered, some questions are tentatively answered and a small Group is established to seek out, to rescue and to help others like themselves. But they're being targeted, being hunted, being killed and are in terrible danger... so now the foundation stone has been laid for this new Paranormal series and ahead will be more hurdles, more mysteries, more answers... and more hot romances. Dual POV's, a happy ending (but not the conclusion as the storyline is ongoing) and the narration was ok.

Worth a credit? Yes, an enjoyable and interesting start to a new intriguing Paranormal (or maybe Sci-Fi) series... because there are no answers to where the many mysterious children originated from.... and you search, along with them, for clues, for answers, for peace and for happiness. During the journey of self-discovery and meeting more of The Found, there will be suspense, action, plot twists, touching passionate scenes... and hot sex. There's a hot, sexy, protective Alpha Hero and a beautiful but insecure Heroine who feels out of her depth for a while... but in Noah's skilled, talented and all too eager hands Kali blossomed... the lucky lucky woman!!
