Great Story

Good story, though the beginning moved a little slowly. I reached the end and I really want to know what happens next! Narration smooth, full of expression. Delightful listening experience.

a very unique and inventive

Reunited (The Zion Series)
By: Brittany Nicole Lewis Narrated by: Rick Barr

After Michael learns of his heritage, he struggles with his conscience. After blindly following the Zion rules all of his life, the loss of his family has him questioning everything his known to be right. How will he resolve this? In a very unique and inventive way that only Michael could come up with. I recommend this to all readers; young and old. This is a family friendly read that the whole family can enjoy together. It supports Christian values without preaching, which I find a relief. Reunited is another 4 star book from Brittany Nicole Lewis. I listened to the audio version of this book and Rick Barr’s narration is as awesome as always.

interesting....

What? Is that how it ends or is there going to be another book? I liked most of this book. The ending left too many questions for me. I liked that it was from Michael and Katie's perspective and shared some others as well. I think others would enjoy this series and would recommend it.I hope that there is more to come.

Kept me guessing until the final paragraph.....

Reunited in the third book in the Zion series, and it was a beautiful melding of the two separate stories from the first two books. I can't imagine reading this book without reading books one and two first because they introduce all the characters and the struggle of Katie and her husband David outside the cult and the struggle of Michael (Katie's brother) inside the cult. In Reunited, Michael tries to make changes to the cult to make it more progressive, but those changes drastically impact Michael's future. Throughout this book, Michael struggles to balance the needs of his parishioners with his emotional and spiritual needs. Katie and David and all four of their parents try to help with Michael's many challenges, but the final decision for Michael's future lies with him. The author did a terrific job portraying Michael's inner turmoil, and she kept me guessing until the final paragraph of the book as to his decision. Although the book wraps up the story lines from all three books nicely, the author definitely leaves the door open for future books.

Rick Barr narrates all three books, and he is the perfect choice for this role. His delivery is flawless, and he uses the perfect tone for every mood and situation. He differentiates well between characters, and he handles youthful/older and male/female voices with equal skill.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.
