Family Bonds

Great story! I loved both Kate and Charles! But I’d say my favorite was all the family dynamics♥️ I loved the camaraderie of Kate and her brothers, but also Charles tenderness and kindness towards his sister. The interaction with both sets of parents was fabulous. It’s just an all-around good story looking so forward to the next one.

Meh.

First time I’ve not been enamored with ms Matthew’s characters. I liked the “work of art” book about Charles’ parents, Kate and Charles just weren’t that compelling.

Nothing to complain about here

Well written and audibly executed. Drama not overdone, and characters that were both believable and admirable. So many stories classified as “romance” are confused with sex. This one was purely romance.

It was a good story with a mystery. I loved the descriptions of gowns. My favorite narrator.

Love the hero and heroine

This book was a little more tame than some of Mimi‘s books… fortunately! For I’m a single woman! I would’ve given the story five stars, but for one detail: the ending “ save” was a little implausible, but still very satisfying!

A Cozy Book with Old Friends and New

I adore Mimi Matthews and the world she has created in Somerset! “Return to Satterthwaite Court” is an absolute gem of a book. I loved every moment of it, especially her take on Kate the heroine. Alex Wyndham was a perfect narrator as always. He should read all of your books. Highly recommend!

Loved this sequel!

The mystery and developing love story kept me hooked the whole time!
The narrators male voices are wonderful the female voices not so much. Haha

Another swoony historical romance from a talented author.

This was such a cute story and I loved the connections to the first two books in this series. The mystery and tension was well-written. I enjoyed the book.

Great Read

This is the third book in the series. I loved the first two so much that it was hard to measure up. The characters are rich and I could relate to them. Overall quite an enjoyable read. And who doesn’t love Alex Wyndham’s narrations? He could read the dictionary and I’d listen all day.
