The book is written in a style that is unique, using essay, short stories and poetry to escort the listener through 'project life'. Remembering Zooneyville is about people of all ages who by virtue of their own grit and fortitude rise from the pain and condemnation of being poor and black in Amerikkka. There are scenes, aspects of people's lives, that will show you violence, beauty, despair, courage, and outrage. Listener, you will become angry, you will not understand, but in continuing the journey through the Unknown Kingdom with me you will find clarity. Come, walk a few miles with the oppressed as I tell you of the plight of my people...Remembering Zooneyville.
