True romance

I love this book. I feel that they truly told a love story. Theo and Maddie were the perfect couple. I like that it started slower it built the romance.

Feel Good Mafia That Hasn't Been Done Before

This was not a dark story, but hit all the right spots when I needed a change. I didn't even want to go to sleep. When the ingredients are an OTTPP mafia Heir, a down in her luck FMC who is feisty enough to slap the mafia man hitting on her at work, the FMCs little sister having major health problems, and a bit of a twist in the adventure/mystery aspect of the story line, you can't go wrong. I loved this book and will definitely recommend it.

This has to be my absolute new favorite book! Hands down! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

Great story, terrible voice actors

I love this series and have read several of the titles twice. I need mindless listening while I work and was thrilled when I saw the Valentino Sons series was finally released to audiobooks. But the narration really took me out of it. The voices for Holly and T in this were a complete 180 from their own series and not in a good way, Holly went from having an Australian accent to a British one. I just felt like all around the voice actors weren’t a good fit for Theo and Maddie, and the Matteo accent was terrible too. If I had sampled it before I bought it I probably would have skipped purchasing it. I’m sure having read it first myself, didn’t help because I had already put my own spin on their voices but I actually had to stop listening to it a couple of times because some of the accents were comical. Super disappointing because Kylie Kent is my favorite romance author.

AMAZING

This is such a good story. Characters are very well thought out and everything flows. Highly recommend of you want to read a mafia romance to start that type of trope

Mafia Romance

The FMC, Maddie, is strong and devoted to her sick sister. She works two jobs and meets the MMC, Theo. He comes across as arrogant and realizes this isn't the way to win her heart. His patience runs out until Maddie makes a huge mistake, and you fall for him more with his character development. There are frustrating moments with Maddie while secrets are revealed.

Kylie Kent is one of my favorite authors. I loved Theo and Maddie's story. I loved how close the Valentino family was.

love the plot and their voices

so far didn't dislike anything. it was a great listen. excited to try the rest. just have to get a few more credits but overall lovedddd it!!

Came off as YA and not in a good way

This is a new author to me. This book had a ton of 4 &5 star reviews so I took a chance and got it on audible. The guy narrator was awful. I seriously was cringing when there was more than 1 male character in his chapter. The story was lacking and made no sense. If you are going to write a book do some research. A child whose parents die and who goes into the system would get Medicaid in this country. She is also disabled waiting for a kidney so she would get disability benefits. This wholle scenario where Maddie is solely responsible for all the bills is ridiculous and just dumb. Valentino falling in love at first sight was mediocre at best. I won’t be listening to any more of this authors books.
