I hate a weak whimpy needy female.
Although the author did try to write in one brave scene. I found the female whimpy and needy. The one brave act was more maternal than brave. Where is the story of the Alpha searching and the put together female alpha, being accomplished and running a pack, and rejecting the male mate. If you advertise a strong female. Make her strong. Size dosen't matter. dynamite comes in small packages.

What is up with the 14 yr old boy angst?
way to much focus on using vulgar words and actions. hardly any storyline beyond the initial first 2 chapters. This story reads like a 14 yr old boy day dreaming of what sex "might" be like with no actual knowledge.

all in their heads
I have always wanted to say to an author, "if more pages in your book are thoughts inside people's head than outside their head, you don't have a story". By Chapter 6 nearly every page were just the thoughts of the main characters speaking in their heads. I love a good shifter story but there is no story here. Learn to write dialog that tells the story. Keep out of their brains.
