Incredibly worth the listen/read

I’m shocked this book/series doesn’t have more fanfare. It’s beautifully written, and does a great job of balancing fantasy, politics, and romance. The leads are engaging, believable characters and the romance rings true. If you’re a fan of the TOG or ACOTAR series, do yourself a favor and read this.

Beautiful

This is easily one of my top 5 fantasy romance books ever. Would recommend to anyone interested in fantasy.

Why doesn’t this get more hype??

WELL worth the credit. Excellent writing, interesting story and characters, wonderful narration. Nice to find something in this genre that isn’t intended for teenagers. I can’t wait to continue this series.

Enjoyed this fantasy world

I loved the book and the narrators were amazing. Be prepared for some steamy interactions between the main characters.

Magic, Politics, and Romance

This book was amazing, start to finish. The political games might make the plot seem slow for those used to a lot of action, but the complex magic system and thorough world building more than make up for any lack.

I can’t wait to start the next book in the series.

intriguing and alluring

The story is very captivating and the narration on both the MFC and MMC did such a great job with the different characters. The political influence and the magic system is really good! I devoured it in two days and am excited to see what the next books hold!

In depth characters and great writing

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! All of the characters were in depth and well thought out and written. This book is more subdued and subtle than some other fantasy I’ve read but the plot is interesting and intricate and draws you in all the same.
The narrators were excellent. They really added to the story and captured the essence of the characters well.
Would highly recommend giving this a listen!

Finally, well written romantic fantasy

Detailed, beautiful language describing an intriguing culture. Steamy but not embarrassingly so. I’m really glad to have found this series.
