WOW! IF YOU START THIS SERIES BE PREPARED TO MAYBE CRY, LAUGH AND MENTALLY SNARL AT SOME OF THE CHARACTERS, THERE IS A SLOW BLOOMING ROMANCE BETWEEN FINN AND ASHEN, AND THEY BRING DOWN THE TRYRANTS THAT ARE RULING OUR WORLD IN THE STORY.
THE STORY IS CLEAN, FAIRLY LIGHTHEARTED AND EDGE OF YOUR SEAT HEART POUNDING THRILL! IT HAS A GREAT ENDING FINALE. THE NARRATOR DID A FANTASTIC JOB WITH THE NARRATION OF THE SERIES!

Sad it’s over

I flew through these books. Loved it so much ! I am so sad it’s over.

I read the first 3 books and listened to the last 2 books. I loved this series and the narration was perfect! She sounded exactly as a pictured in my mind.

Enjoyable story

The narrator was fantastic and story line was a lot of fun to experience. Definitely rooting for the main characters. Some of the story lines were frustrating, but that’s probably to be expected. Throughly enjoyed the read!

It kept me wanting more! Some parts were predictable but others were surprising. The characters were well written. As I read/listen (to) a book I always enjoy when a book is so well written with details that I can create a movie in my mind. Well done!

Wonderful and intense ending

First I’ll preface this that I read the reviews before getting this series, and they were a bit “iffy”. The book starts out a bit rough to be sure, but the writing and story only gets better and better with each book in the series! I definitely recommend buying the series and letting the author transport you into a unsettling dystopian world where you are sure to feel all the feelings we humans are capable of feeling!

The end of a great series

I am sad that it is over but the story and performance captivated me the entire time and I enjoyed every minute of it
