Jack Carr’s last book was his best . There was something missing can’t put my finger on it. It was almost a Ian Fleming story

James Reese gets out of more incredible situations!

Jack Carr puts so much detail into his books. It's fascinating to learn about things I know little to nothing about. Cars, airplanes, guns, ammo, knives, wine, keeping people alive, to name a few. Ray Porter is the ultimate narrator to bring Jack's stories to life. It's as if you're watching a movie! Ray's ability to change his voice for the different characters is unmatched! Many touching moments in this book, especially the scene with James and Jonathan giving fatherly advice. Must admit I had to skip through one of the torture scenes. I haven't had to do that in the prior six books. Guess I was feeling extra sensitive that day. I so loved the ending! I had a feeling it might happen, but it was nice to know it did!

my favorite book in the series, I'm starting it over after burning through it in 3 days. Maybe it was the anticipation because I'd pre-ordered this one, but I loved everything about this book.
Ray Porter does good work, true, I could do better, but he's a top notch performer.

Carr In Stride

Carr does a great job creating a story with modern events and thriller components. Not as good as the first, but carries the story well and looking forward to a second listen.

Amazing story. Hope there will be an 8th book coming soon. Until then, I’ll restart the series.

Jack Carr never disappoints

I am absolutely intrigued by Jack’s uncanning ability to incorporate current events into all his books. Red Sky Mourning is no different. Jack is a world class storyteller, author, and historian.

Wow! Disturbing, Exciting!

Another fantastic book by Jack Carr and excellent reading by Ray Porter! The fact that this piece of fiction could so easily happen is terrifying.
