Every parent needs to read this. Sex trafficking is not a myth. It is happening on our Midwest small college campuses and throughout the world. It can happen to anyone. Lisa brings it to life in an incredible read!

Compelling

A deep look into the horrific world of sex trafficking and the impact it has on survivors and families of survivors. As told from 5 different perspectives of characters in the story, the dark moments are lightened by the storytelling and journey through time. An eye opener for sure on the topic of sex trafficking and the impact it has on survivors, and the realization of just how easily someone could get swept away into that crime world.

Riveting - I couldn’t stop listening

The author does a great job of telling the story in chapters from each character’s view. The book has been on my list for some time but I put off listening due to its length. However, once I started I couldn’t stop. And like a good book, even though it’s over I’m wondering what the future holds for its characters.
