To say they had a bad break-up would be putting it mildly - Sy's actions nearly destroyed the truce his clan had with the wolf-shifters. But as a virus threatens the GreyFire wolves, Sy and Kaya must put aside their past to find a cure.

As they work together and race against the clock, Sy starts to wonder why he let Kaya go in the first place. Despite their past, will he be able to reclaim the wolf that captured his heart and start over?

Young love isn't always the best love.

Would you consider the audio edition of Reclaiming the Wolf to be better than the print version?

Enjoyed both versions. It is good to hear the different characters depending on the situation and location.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really liked Sy. He was teasing, yet powerful. Could be a bit of a grouch yet was tender and a little rough when Kaya needed it. He was loyal and she eventually showed great trust in him.

Any additional comments?

I loved the book. This was a shifter version of discrimination. Two different shifter animal, wolves and cougar, falling in love and dealing with the disapproval of their clans. As youths, they loved, but could not overcome the elders and family disapproval. Yet when danger--deadly danger attacks the wolves clan, Sy came through. They learn there may have been more than youthful inability to fight for what they wanted that kept them apart. Can they overcome the pain of the past? While they fight together to save the wolves, can they be more? The story is steamy, touching and the characters ones you won't forget.

I really enjoyed this first (full length) book in the Cascade Shifters series. I really liked Sylas and Kaya and thought they were perfect for each other and it was a shame they missed so much time together because of the interference of others. I was happy they got a second chance to be together in this book despite all they faced with her clan being threatened by an unknown entity they had to find and stop before they could focus on their own relationship.

It was a good story line but I’m not sure I think it was missing something. There was romance and action and hot sex! It was a good read and reading along with audiobook was a plus.
