About this listen

From the NYT best-selling author of Breathless with Her comes a fake relationship romance that’s all too real.

Professing her love to her best friend while wearing only her favorite panty set and coat probably wasn’t the best decision Amelia Carr has ever made. In fact, it’s perhaps the worst. But when her family becomes their overprotective selves while encroaching on her life, she makes a rash decision: Her brother’s best friend will just have to be her beard. Too bad he has no idea what he’s in for.

Tucker Reinhard loves women, and they tend to love him even more. Despite the love, he never would have expected Amelia to come up with the plan she poses to him. He’ll go along with it, but only because he doesn’t want to see her hurt - even if that means fighting his best friend.

In the midst of her scheme, Amelia realizes she doesn’t know Tucker as well as she thought. And neither of them are prepared for what happens when they let the façade go and see what truly lies beneath.

Great addition to this series!

This next installment in the Less than series was a great addition to the series that I enjoyed thoroughly. This standalone read tells Tucker and Amelia's story to the HEA with each other that the pair was not at first looking for. Both started their relationship under false pretenses with a fake relationship that turned real as well as with Tucker being Amelia's brother's best friend. Where this sounded like a cliche story line I in the end did not feel that it was as the pair had relationship issues that they worked through and found that in the end that they have feelings for each other despite the other factors that lead them to their relationship. Their story moved along smoothly with a few bumps in the road and the pair had amazing chemistry. In the audio revision, the narration by Jacob Morgan and Samantha Cook was enjoyable and the pair did a great job bringing this story to life. In the end, I would recommend this book to others.

Great story

I really enjoyed this book and truly enjoyed the second epilogue. I’ve been a fan of this author for years. She has yet to write a series I didn’t love.

LOVE Amelia and Tucker

These 2 have great chemistry and it was fun to be part of their journey. I will never think of beards the same way again LOL Well done! Growly Jacob Morgan as Tucker....swoonworthy

Fun listen

I love the Carr siblings ... but I was disappointed a little in this book. Not with Tucker or Amelia, but with Tobey. He was Amelia's best friend. I expected more from him. He just dropped her after she professed her love. Some best friend. At least Tucker is there for her, no matter what. Fake relationship and all, they become so much more to each other. The secret baby was not a twist I saw coming, and it caused a crimp in their relationship, but they managed to get things back on track.

I was surprised the Carr brothers weren't all up in Tucker's business. I found them rather relaxed on the subject of Amelia. Especially after the fiasco with Tobey.

I'm curious how the brothers are going to handle when Tucker knocks up their little sister, and causes her pain during delivery. Will they be ready to kill him then, or just excited for a new baby in the family.

This was such a fun audiobook to listen to. Jacob Morgan is his usual sexy self. He was perfect for Tucker. And Savannah Peachwood was such a great Amelia. She's carefree and happy and young at heart. She embodies the character. I look forward to more from this duo.

Omg!! Must listen!

Absolutely loved the latest book by the author it had a couple twists I didn’t see coming and were great and kept me reading throughout. It’s a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. This book included characters we have seen throughout the series. This is Amelia’s story and the second of the series.

The narrators were great and made the story even better!

Absolutely amazing! Loved it!

I absolutely loved listening to Reckless with You by Carrie Ann Ryan. This older brother’s best friend fake romance was emotional and touching. My heart felt every word of this story and I could not stop listening. A beautiful story about family, love and friendship brought to life by Samantha Cook and Jacob Morgan.

Tucker may not have had a family growing up, but he has a family now. The Carr’s mean everything to him. They have accepted him and he would do anything or them. He is one of the best book boyfriend’s I have read about and just loved him. He was caring and sweet at every turn. Amelia Carr thought she had it all figured out. But when she takes a chance that blows up in her face, she finds herself a bit lost. She decides she needs a fake boyfriend so her very loving and overprotective family gives her some space. But what neither expected was the explosive chemistry and connection they feel. Such a great read with all kinds of feels and one I highly recommend.

Happy listening!

Oh Tucker.....

This was such a fun listen. Samantha Cook and Jacob Morgan narrated this to perfection.
Ameilia is totally in love with her best friend Toby right? Right? RIGHT? Maybe not. Or Maybe. She doesn't know, she just wants to get over her humiliation and make her family stop bothering her. Enter Tucker, part of her 'family' (no not really, just close family friend). They are fun together, the story is engaging and you don't want to stop listening. They have some twists and turns along the way, and you really really just want to wrap Tucker in a hug. Worth a listen!
