Struggles lead to the HEA

Jaxi has had a rough life. Nothing good ever stays for her. She needs a restart on her life and it's going to be in the form of a cush nanny job in Hawaii, but first a stop at her cousin's house.

Boone is the playboy, or so everyone thinks. He's carefree, or so everyone thinks. He's a lot deeper than everyone thinks... or so he thinks.

Due to a chance encounter, Boone and Jaxi meet. Due to trials, tribulations, and twists, they end up in a relationship.

Wen and Stella did an excellent job with narration. They draw you in and make you want to listen to their story.

I could not wait to get this audio book and I was NOT disappointed! Boone Mason was not expecting Jaxi Thorpe, but their unconventional meeting led to so much more. I did not expect to love Jaxi as much as I did. Their whole story was unconventional but that’s what made their HEA even better! No spoilers here...this is a must listen.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the narrators!! The Southern accents were spot on. Stella Hunter nailed the male voices which I love when listening. 10 stars!!

Really good

Wen Ross always delivers and Stella Hunter was equally good, so
narration was perfect and great performance by both. Really liked the
the story, looking forward to the next installment.

Reckless

Boone and Jaxi's story was everything I've come to know and love from Adriana Locke.

There's great characters who you can root for, a family who you grow to love, and a great mix of romance, drama, and humor. The chemistry between Boone and Jaxi was wonderful and I really liked the two of them together. I also loved getting to see more of the Mason family and how involved they are in each other's lives.

This book can be read as a standalone, but the whole series is amazing! I'm so glad I read this one on audio. Once I started I couldn't stop listening. The narrators were a great match for the characters!

Sweet Romance

Reckless is a sweet romance, that started with an accidental break-in that turned in to a HEA. Jaxi has not had the greatest life and it leads her to not be so trusting. Boone is sweet and an all around great guy. I loved that Boone was willing to help Jaxi without even thinking in a moment she needed most and was willing to prove to her that he was not like everyone else in her life.

Stella Hunter and Wen Ross gave a great performance in this story. Wen was good at portraying Boone’s sweet and swoony personality. Stella was fantastic at bringing out they emotions and insecurities Jaxi has from her troubled past. I enjoyed both of their performances.

I love Boone

I could not put this book down. This series is so great. Boone, Jaxi and Rosie are a great family and seeing them learn to love and trust each other is great. I just wanted to read this story because it’s part of a series and written by Adriana Locke but Boone and of course Rosie are up there one of my favorite people. Adrianna Locke did not disappoint and now I need Oliver’s story and Wades. Jaxi and Boone were great and seeing how they met was great.narration was wonderful

What a fun and hilarious meet cute!

What a fun and hilarious meet cute! I adored Boone and Jaxi and their slow burn romance. The Mason family is one I'd love to be a member of, and Boone might just be my favorite (#BooneSwoon!). And what a twist! I love how author Adriana Locke creates families and characters that support and love each other. One of the taglines I saw for Reckless was Heart, Heat and HEA and I thought that was perfect! I always enjoy Wen Ross's narration, and although Stella Hunter was new to me, I really enjoyed her performance as well.

I love Boone Mason!

Adriana Locke has written an amazing story about Boone Mason. I truly love the story of how Bone finds love and how he unconditionally loves Jaxi. Wen Ross and Stella Hunter are amazing at bringing this story to life and off of the page. This is a 5 star story told in a 5 star way!

Reckless

Every time Adriana Locke comes out with a new book, I know I'm not going to be disappointed. I can say I loved Reckless, and couldn't put it down. Reckless is the third book in the Mason Family series. This story is told from dual points of view from Boone and Jaxi.

Boone is the youngest in the Mason family. Being the youngest he feels that no one needs him or takes him seriously. When he meets Jaxi during a strange encounter he likes how she's different. Jaxi is staying at her cousin's house next door to Boone for a week before she takes off for a new job in Hawaii.

Something happens in Jaxi's life and her cousin's boyfriend ends upcoming home. So Boone offers for her to stay at his house until she can figure life out. Jaxi has had a rough upbringing and isn't use to the generosity of Boone and his family. She has trouble accepting help from strangers.

As Boone and Jaxi get used to this new life they start to have feelings for each other. Can she learn to trust Boone and his family? What happens when Boone realizes he's more than just a goofy playboy and has serious feelings for Jaxi. What happens with the thing that came into Jaxi's life? When wires get crossed and Jaxi thinks Boone wants her out of his house, how will they work to solve it?

I loved this book and everything it had. Both characters had a lot of growth. Boone realizing he is needed more than he thinks, and Jaxi learning to trust others.

I can't wait for the next brother in the series!

Sweet and Swoony Romance!

I loved this sweet and swoony romance! Boone has been the fun, carefree, playboy of the Mason family. He feels like his family never expects much from him, and he has never found anything he wanted bad enough to fight for, until Jaxi breaks into his life. She is a complicated, hot mess, but she is real and pure, her slight vulnerability is magnetic, and the fire in her eyes just calls to him. The people in Jaxi's past have blamed her for everything, making her believe she brings darkness wherever she goes. It's hard to trust someone as kind, sweet and swoony as Boone could treat her with respect and believe in her. They unexpectedly come into each others lives when their needed most. They are perfect for each other, giving them something they never knew they needed, but now can't imagine living without.
Wen Ross, and Stella Hunter did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They delivered all the wit, emotion, and steam and I was totally lost in their performance.
This is a fun, sweet and tender story about finding your worth, believing you're deserving of family and love, and finding the strength to fight for it. I absolutely love the Mason Family series, and the matriarch, Siggy is the best, along with the rest of the Mason crew who are funny, loyal, supportive, and love unconditionally. You will absolutely fall in love with Boone in this story that will also make you laugh, cry, and feel every emotion in between!
