About this listen

Much has been lost in the conflict with the Fae king and his allies, a conflict we hadn't known we were in until one of our own fell at his hand. And while a great Seal between realms may have been rebuilt, dark things slipped through in the chaos, creatures who would overrun this world.

Our allies are many. Our enemies are terrible. And someone ate my last chimichanga despite the fact I had clearly marked it with a note that said it was mine.

This series is awesome!!!

The Vesik series has been so surprisingly good. I love this type of supernatural fiction, and honestly, how often do you read a series about a benevolent necromancer? The narrator for this series (William Dufris) makes Vesik come to life, and he does a great job of sucking a person into the action. I can't recommend this series enough.

Fantasic

Great story. Couldn't ask for a better narrator. He really makes every character come to life.
Asher always tells fantastic stories with a huge cast, only you never feel overwhelmed by everyone's stories because they are interwoven so well. Gods, vampires, fairies, and necromancers all fighting to save their little piece of the world.

I really AM hooked

The story is good...a lot of characters, well developed through the series. Kinda silly, but it works...but the highlight of these books is the narrator. He brings the characters to life (or death, lol) and they become real. You care about them. You WANT to know how they are going to get through their next adventure. Highly suggest this series, but keep in mind, it does get silly.

To short, want more

So this installment of my addiction did not last long enough; which is the way of things we like. I am feeling the crescendo of our story reaching the top as I feel we must be getting near the final boss. So much has happened to our characters that I hope when it is all said and done they all get to go to Disney World. War on all sides our heroes are up against vast numbers, of course aren't they always. If you like stories with magic, fighting, faeries, and maybe a demon or two; then you need to pick up the Vesik series.

Just when you think he can't, HE DOES!

This is number six in the Vesik series, and as impossible as it sounds, this series just keeps getting better. With the resolution of a major story line in the first 5 books, I worried that we'd be left hanging with no new drama. Silly me! Once again Eric Asher has reached into his warded chest and pulled out a new story line and new characters that captivate you. What can I say about William Dufris other than he breathes life into these characters to the point that when you READ the books, you hear HIS voice. Another great collaboration, eagerly awaiting #7!

Full of action

As always, this book was absolutely full of action. Never a dull moment for these characters. I feel pretty bad for them, one obstacle gets cleared and another immediately arises, I guess that's war for ya!

Full of emotion, camaraderie, and dark humor. Always surprising. I love how these characters are not just friends, they're a very large, very diverse family.

The narrator couldn't possibly be more perfect for this series.

Can't wait to see what adventure the next book brings!

Another homerun

I love the book but hated to finish it I can't get enough of demon . it was kinda disappointing how easy they took down the big budget this time but other than that it was amazing it progressed the story just enough to satisfy but also leave me wanting more
