Dear Lawyer,

As your paralegal (and ex), I have to be honest: You’re a horrible lawyer.

Honestly, the worst I’ve ever seen.

You never communicate, you pile on overtime, and you’re constantly in a bad mood.

Now, about those panties on your desk. No, that wasn’t a desperate cry for your attention. It was the result of a lost bet with my roommate. But if you were even half the lawyer you claim to be, you’d have figured that out without all the ego-tripping.

And about that phone call you overheard, yes, I did say I’m sorry I can’t sleep with you again. That’s because I actually value my sanity and self-respect.

As for my weekend plans? Definitely none of your business.

Anyway, I’ve been laughing at this whole situation for weeks, so let me keep it short:

I quit.

Yep, you read that right, Lawzilla, I’m done.

Maybe dial down the ego or at least learn to pay your staff better.

I’m flattered that my legal incompetence has made such a lasting impression. It’s clear you’ve been holding onto this since our split ten years ago, and I can’t blame you for wanting to get a few jabs in.

As for the “Worst Lawyer Ever” title, I’ll wear it proudly.

It’s a tough world out there, and if my greatest achievement is making my ex laugh, then I guess I’m doing something right.

The narrators were absolutely fabulous. The could listen Teddy Hamilton talk for days!

Absolutely amazing story line and the MMC and FMC’s banter was on point. Favorite scene was when he caught her in his office for the panty prank 🤣

Great book with great narration ! This was a perfect pallet cleanser from my dark mafia books!

Hate the elephant in the room

I just can’t get comfortable with a book/couple with a misunderstanding/unknown issue just hanging around. I enjoyed my first Jolie Day story about the hotel couple…. The takeover type story… Seemed like they spoke real truths more often… This story was a bit more childish. I can’t stand pranks. Still 4 stars for a nice story but not a favorite. Going to give one more Jolie Day a try.

Not as funny as I hoped but good.

I was hoping for the usual humor but I felt like this one fell short compared to other books. It was still a good story. I was wondering the whole time what happened. There were a few more chapters than necessary at the end and a bit over the top cheesy but I still liked the story. Just not as much as other books I’ve read by Jolie.

Annoying - YA Feel, 30+ Main Characters

This was an annoying listen. Felt like a YA story, but the main characters were 30+. Harvard graduates with no intuitive instincts or foresight. Idiotic pranks. Weak arguments. Stupid.
