Fascinating!

This book is a lean cut of carnivore meat. It's about becoming not an omnivore, but a carnivore. Eliminating other food groups from your diet is possible, and there is science that backs up many of the conclusions in this book. When the science is unclear, the author tells us so.

I don't know if the diet is for me, but I learned a lot about how the body uses meat and animal products for nutrition and health - much more than I learned in college physiology. It has convinced me to keep meat in my diet, and not give in to my vegetarian friends.

Give it a listen! It's short, clear, and very, very interesting!

Informative

If you are interested in trying the carnivore diet, listen to this book first. "Quick Carnivore" starts with the shedding some light on the ongoing argument whether we should eat meat or not. You will be equipped with facts to make a well-informed decision.
In the following chapters you will be provided with the suggestions on what kind of meat to eat, how to make your meat consumption methodical and rational and more.
I always love FAQs in books and this book has just that. Chapter 6 will debunk some of your dietary myths and answer questions in a quick and clear way.
Very interesting listen.

Great info! great book overall!

The carnivore diet just seemed like an excuse to eat savory foods 24/7—at least, that's what I used to think!

The author's personal experience and the science-backed information on this diet were eye-opening. I'm trying to gain muscle right now, and after listening to this book, I might actually give five carnivores a try. The narrator was perfect, and it made this book super fun and easy to listen to and understand.

Covers Everything You Need to Know and More

I had never heard of the carnivore diet before discovering this book. The book is very thorough and answered all the questions I had. I found myself asking while listening to a chapter "well how do you get the nutrients your body needs to function properly?" and then there was a whole chapter on supplementation and another one of FAQs. All in all, I think this diet is worth a try after listening to this book and I feel well equipped to make the transition with all the information about what to eat, when and how much. Bonus points to this book and the author for promoting environmental sustainability and not pushing an eating regimen that creates an unhealthy relationship with food.
