Aaahh!!

Omg! That ending just about killed me!!
Once again the queen of cliffhangers has done it again. It is such a good listen!!
The narrators, Stella Hunter, Shane East, and James Joseph are simply amazing!! The trio bring the characters to life and elevate the listening experience! I love Reyna and Ronan and it was such a fight to get them to where they ended up at the end of the book. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Couldn't Put Down!

Meg Anne is the queen of cliffhangers and I could not wait to start this book. The story picks up right after the events of first book. I love that even though Reyna cannot remember her past she knows there is a connection between her and Ronan and I love all of their verbal sparring. We meet a few new characters in this story and I love the endless banter between all them. The cliffhanger on this one will make you not even want to pause between this book and the next.

Stella Hunter, Shane East and James Joseph continue to shine with their narration of this series tackling each of their characters with perfection.

Amazing Book 2!!

Meg Anne has done it again in book 2 of this amazing series that I've been waiting for since the Keepers ended. This fast paced story kept me on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. What new evil would Erevos try? How will Ronan & Reyna get away? I loved the nods to Princess Bride, Bast's loyalty to Ronan through everything, Reyna's strength, and Ronan's swooniness and fierce loyalty to his woman!
I am patiently waiting to see what happens next!
The narrators, my goodness they were outstanding! Stella Hunter,  Shane East and James Joseph complement each other and MegAnne's writing so well. It would really be hard to hear anyone else in their place. Stella's range of accents and vocal styles is perfect. I loved Shane's rough gravelly angry Ronan voice & then he slips right into the sweet and tender Ronan. JJ is so good at the evil Erevos and comedic relief Bast, two very different characters. Their ease at giving the authors' characters their voices will never cease to amaze me.

Fantastically amazing fantasy romance series!!!

Queen of Whispers and Mist is book 2 in the The Forsaken series. Don't even try to guess what happens. YOU - WILL - BE - WRONG!!!! Just enjoy the ride and be prepared for some exciting adventure and steamy encounters that will make that slow burn worth the wait ~ Yowza! This series is fan-freaking-tastic and seems to just get better. Ronin and Reyna/Shadow are forced into absolutely terrible circumstances again and again, and even with the darkness you just can’t help but dangle on the light at the end of the tunnel… Meg Anne has taken the question of what else could go wrong to extremes, so all bets are off and anything can - and does - happen. Such incredible characters, places, and creatures. Bast is one of my favorite side characters and he definitely does not disappoint in this book. If you have read her other books you know she will leave you dangling off the end of a cliff with the weight of what happens next pulling you down-down-down! What a ride and now I desperately need the next book, like right NOW!

Stella and Shane in duet with James Joseph once again deliver an audiobook experience that is absolutely top notch awesomeness! Each different character is uniquely delivered in such a way that bring them to life, carries the story, and has you living the story along with Meg Anne. Shane and Stella have been all over my Faveylist for a long time with their beautiful voices and amazing performances with so many different accents and characters. James Joseph is relatively new and now a permanent fixture of 1-click excellence! He is so amazing with Bast’s French playboy accent as well as the haunting God of Death/Evaros and a few other characters. Honestly, casting perfection!

Spectacular story with next level narration

And this series just continues to knock it out of the park. Picking up right where book one left us dangling, things move very quickly to put Reyna/Shadow in a very precarious postition with Erebos, and Ronan scrambling to find the best way to extract them both from their predicaments. What we’re given is a covert mission under the cover of darkness, with some familiar helping hands and the launch off point of a whole other fantastic journey.

This book has so much to love and then some. Pirates, dragons, sea creatures, and some of the absolute best banter you could wish for. And if you didn’t pick up on the Princess Bride vibes in book one, you most definitely wont miss it here. I was absolutely giddy with all the references and influences, loving the book all the more for each and every one of them. We have new characters to instantly fall in love with, and favorites we already know and love - hello Bast! The chemistry between Ronan and Reyna continues to sizzle at epic levels, while the threat of the vengeful god that is hot on their tails propels the story at a steady and fantastic pace. The dark and foreboding nature of the book is balanced perfectly with light, humor filled moments, as well as some fantastic, panty melting spice. You will hit on every emotion as you travel on this epic adventure, and you’ll be all the happier for it.

And a cliffhanger ending - without a doubt, as it’s the second book of a trilogy, and we are talking Meg Anne here. So was I expecting it? Absolutely. Am I happy about it? Not a chance. Am I chomping at the bit for book three already? Without a doubt. This roller coaster has just been picking up steam through every chapter, and the next book is sure to be an absolutely amazing journey.

And if you’re an audiobook lover, you will, of course, not be disappointed in the slightest. Top notch, spectacular narrators propel this story into the stratosphere, with emotionally charged, on point duet narration every single step of the way. You will NEVER go wrong in choosing a Meg Anne audiobook.

Utterly delicious!!

Meg Anne weaves a web of utter deliciousness! I’m obsessed with this series and all the characters. She’s quickly become a favorite of mine and I’m excited for the next book.

The narrators do an absolute phenomenal job on the dual POV! Shane East and Stella Hunter are a dynamic duo. James Joseph is completely stellar. They make the perfect thruple!! Together they bring this series to life!

FANTASTIC!

I have been looking for a good read for weeks, my only complaint about this book and.the first one is that I truly, TRULY, wish they were LONGER! Fabulous storyline, Fabulous characters, Fabulous narrators, I mean I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS STORY AND ALL ENTWINED WITHIN IT! You will not regret it! There is a bit of Very Mature adult situations within this and the first book, but.only a few, that fell within the story perfectly. And a bit... okay well A LOT of cussing, sometimes uncalled for, and a bit of dirty talk. But... in my mind, the story is well well worth those things because it was not constant or overbearing. I am full committed to this story and world and I laughed, A LOT, especially in the first book with Ronan's French speaking acquaintance... and I cried, like legit teared up and let em roll on down my cheeks unchecked, and my heart ached in parts and of course I've gotten a tad Angry also.... but this book gives you ALL the feels... E P I C... I consider this story an EPIC read. Its been a very long time since I've had a read like this that I've FELT so engrossed in and I am incredibly thankful that this author PUT THEIR ALL INTO THIS and is such a wonderful story teller! If I could, this one would get 6 stars!

Amazing. Just. Wow.

This group of narrators is absolutely perfect. The book was fabulous as usual, thank you very much Meg Anne, but the narration was what made me stay up all night. Don’t let this series pass you by. It’s worth every credit.

Phenomenal Story with Absolutely Stellar Narration!

This series just gets better and better! Although I might have a little bit of whiplash from the roller coaster of emotions. This story had me swinging between jubilant and dejected. But I’m seriously enjoying the ride. The characters and the world building in this series are next level. And the story continues to entertain, surprise, and intrigue me. I cannot wait to see how this storyline ends.

The incredible narration from Stella Hunter, Shane East, and James Joseph adds yet another level to this thoroughly enjoyable story. Stella Hunter delivers another fantastic performance as Reyna/Shadow, the sassiest assassin in the realm. And as always, Shane East shines as Ronan, the grumpy warrior with a heart of slightly tarnished gold. James Joseph makes the most of his featured narrator role by continuing to stun as Erebos, the big bad of the story, while also providing charismatic comic relief as Bast. Together, these three phenomenal voice actors make this an audiobook title you definitely do not want to miss!
