About this listen
Silver Medal Winner of the Independent Publisher Book Awards
Are you ready to master Quantum Physics fast through just 4 bizarre discoveries, even if you've got zero prior experience or training in the subject? Then keep reading...
In 1965, the great American physicist Richard Feynman famously proclaimed, "I think I can safely say that nobody understands Quantum Mechanics." Is there any wonder why?
Particles that pop in and out of existence...
Spooky action at a distance that travels faster than light...
Infinite universes and branching realities?
In this book, we will break through the confusion and reveal to you the most important ideas of Quantum Physics, told through the amazing true story of just 4 bizarre discoveries.
In Quantum Physics, Into the Light, you'll discover:
- How one young physicist accidentally discovered quantum physics with a math trick and changed our entire understanding of light and matter forever
- The true secret nature of light
- How a playful riddle about a dead cat started as a joke but later smashed our entire interpretation of reality forever
- How a man you've never heard of took us to the brink of a Theory of Everything
- Einstein's top-secret letter to President Roosevelt that saved the Allies in WWII
Plus as a bonus, you'll get Relativity For Beginners, The Special & The General Theory. In Relativity For Beginners, you'll discover:
- The hidden secrets of Space and Time (and time travel!)
- The incredible real science of how to shrink objects
- The eclipse that saved Einstein's career
- And a whole lot more!

Story
Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Both have reputations for complexity. But the basic ideas behind them are, in fact, simple and comprehensible by anyone. These dynamic and illuminating lectures begin with a brief overview of theories of physical reality starting with Aristotle and culminating in Newtonian or "classical" physics.

Three of the most important words in science are I don't know. Not knowing implies a universe of opportunities—the possibility of discovery and surprise. Our understanding of science has advanced immeasurably over the last 500 years, yet many fundamental mysteries of existence persist: How did our universe begin? How big is the universe? Is time travel possible? What’s at the center of a black hole? How did life on Earth arise? Are we alone? What is consciousness, and can we create it?

Great book!
I've gotta be honest, I went into this audiobook thinking quantum physics was going to be as dry and confusing as my high school textbooks made it seem. But let me tell you, this experience was a total blast! Rather than just pelting you with mind-numbing formulas and technical jargon, the authors brilliantly break it all down into an engaging, easy-to-digest narrative. We're talking wild stories and fun facts. I found myself having all these "ahaa!" moments where things started clicking into place effortlessly. This book reinvents how educational content is delivered in the most entertaining and accessible way possible. An absolute must-listen!

Make science fun
This book is a fantastic introduction to the complex world of quantum physics and relativity. What makes it stand out is how it breaks down difficult concepts into plain English, making them accessible to beginners. The author covers seven key discoveries that are essential for understanding these fields, and the explanations are clear and engaging. I particularly enjoyed the practical examples and analogies that make the material easier to grasp. Whether you're a student, a science enthusiast, or just curious about how the universe works, this book is a great starting point. It makes learning about quantum physics and relativity both fun and informative.

Outstanding introduction to complex topics
The author does a great job at breaking down intricate ideas into easy-to-understand terms, without overwhelming beginners. The inclusion of the history of scientists and their discoveries adds a fascinating dimension to the book. The order in which the concepts are presented is very helpful, allowing readers to build their understanding incrementally. The narration is excellent, with a clear and appropriate tone and a good cadence that makes the material engaging and easy to follow. I think this book would be great for home-school parents or students trying to familiarize themselves with quantum physics in advance of taking a graded course.

Holy crap that was fun!
Wow! Absolutely fantastic! I’ve always enjoyed science, so it was quite an enjoyable audiobook bundle! It sends you want a wild mental ride of fascination, terror, and awe. The only thing I found frustrating, as it is with all books, I wasn’t able to converse with the author (ask questions, and talk about alternative theories). Nonetheless, it was an absolutely mind-blowing, entertaining audiobook!

It's not rocket science! lol
Quantum physics will almost always sound very complicated and way over the average persons head. Some might even wonder why they would want to try to understand this topic. If we have thought about that question and if we can even understand it in the first place, we have come to the right spot. But how can beginners learn more step by step about quantum physics? Learn more in this book!

I really liked this book. With a higher education, I still had problems wrapping my mind around quantum physics. This book made it so simple to understand. The author incorporated the theory into stories, which helped clarify how quantum physics works. If you would like to expand your knowledge of quantum physics, this is a must-read book.
