About this listen

What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming? Dr. Stephanie Walker knows what it is and how to use it. In fact, she murders people with it. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Walker works with her very wealthy clients by taking control of their unconscious mind, enabling her to manipulate and guide their every action. After she moves a great deal of their wealth to her own private investments, her clients then commit suicide creating the perfect robbery and murder. Detective Joe Stanton of Cleveland Police Department smells something rotten in a series of suicides among wealthy businessmen in the Ohio area. Joe digs into cases discovering the smell may be coming from one Dr. Stephanie Walker. Joe now pits his thirty years of experience against one of the brightest and most devious minds he ever encountered; cleaver enough to even control his thinking. In the midst of this, Dr. Walker has a new client whose very life depends on how quickly someone can shut down Walker's operation. With twist and turns exploring every dark corner of intrigue, this is a nail bitter to the last unpredictable page.

Very Scary Concept

Where does Psych rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Have not been at the audiobook market for very long, but after I read (listened to) PSYCH, I checked out some NLP and while the people who use NLP are not murderers, they do control minds. I read other books by JTTwerell, but this is the first audiobook and it is outstanding. I found myself liking Dr. Walker, even though she is not a good person. If you love mystery and thrillers, this is the one to add to your library.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved Dr. Walker (which says there is something wrong with me) and identified with Detective Joe Stanton. Walkers ability to weave her spell is fantastic.

What does Nate Cimmino bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has a good reading skill and brings some sense of drama to the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me very worried about my next visit to my therapist!!!

Any additional comments?

I love Twerell’s writing and now his Audiobook opens a new world. Look forward to more

Sort of disturbing

If you liked the movie Trance , you will really like the book. It is scary to think that people like the main character are probably operating like she does right now.
