Love it

I know most of the parents looking for something like this are saying to themselves “I wish there was something that can make potty training easy” or something fun for potty training, cause its not easy and plain terrifying. My son would go number 2 in the toilet, but had no interest in going pee in the potty or his potty chair. It just didn’t interest him. So I found these and i love it. I put one in each of my bathrooms and he loved it.

This method works

I followed this book pretty closely and have had good results. I potty trained my daughter using this methodology at 2 years, 9 months old. By the 4th day, there were no more pee-pee accidents and by the 6th day, no more poo-poo accidents. My daughter is super easy going and loves being praised, so that has made things a lot easier.

Night and day!

This method has been night and day compared to potty training my first child which took months! We're on day 3, and my little man is doing great!

WOW It worked

Wow! This book totally works. Our child is 28 months and I have to admit that I was super skeptical / nervous going into potty training. I had started "Oh Crap" but really disliked a the voice of the author and her disregard for the child as a person. A friend recommended this book - and I found the tone and approach much more my style. I was still skeptical, however, that it would all be a total disaster. We followed the book pretty much word for word, and WOW - it worked!!! We are currently on Day 3 of potty training and it has been a complete and total success. Day 1 we had a number of pee accidents but by lunch, our kiddo was peeing in the potty. Day 2 we had just 2 accidents in the morning, but the rest of the day was a huge success (and there was even a poop in the potty that night - which felt like winning the potty training Olympics). Day 3 we had no accidents at all. We even ventured out of the house for ice cream. Our child's "sleep undies" have been dry after naps and waking up in the morning (and we weren't even trying to potty train for night). All in all, I am thrilled about this entire process, and so happy we all made it through without anyone (child and parents included) feeling traumatized. There were a few tears along the way, but really we worked together with our child to make sure they felt loved, supported, heard and safe through this milestone.

Beyond pleased!

So glad I listen this book, I admit I was anxious and terrified of this "potty training phase" of our lives. I dreaded it so much I kept putting it off (my child is 2 years and 8 months old). I'm so glad I bought and read this book (it's a super easy read). And absolutely grateful to the author for recommending the baby bjorn toilet seat (by far best one in the market! I'm tossing out the other one we had purchased last year).

Great method

Great book. Great method. My first was really easy to potty train. My second, not so much. She starts preschool in the fall and she has to be potty trained. Yikes! Not much time left. Up until now, she has resisted my efforts. That is why I bought this book.

Sure it was ok.

So was my first book to kick start my research on potty training and I think I was expecting more. Sure there is a lot of helpful tips but most seem commonsense... I'm kinda indifferent about it.

Amazing results

I finished it in one sitting and immediately made a list of things recommended to do before we started the potty training and also what supplies would be needed. I have 32-month old boy/girl twins and my son was trained by the end of day one. A week later and I still can't believe it. My daughter was mostly trained by day 3, but still had one accident per day (mostly because she's a busy body) until day 6 when we had full success. They both have remained 100% dry overnight. It's amazing. I was fully prepared for the horror stories I'd heard from other parents. We even used the specific products the author suggested and everything worked well for us. I was glad we took the extra time to prepare and had this book as a reference. I would recommend for anyone.
