Another great book

I love to hear stories of the Vandar, but the lost Vandar with their white hair and tails? Swoon! This is an enemies to lovers book, with the right amount of action, adventure, and steamy scenes. Tana Stone hit another one out of the park!

Kaiven and Thea

Opposites attract. All they do is bicker and snipe at each other until the day they go at each other in a far more pleasurable way. After that it’s rescue Thea again from the bad guy and declare their love for each other. Other wonderful read from Tana Stone. I do so love her books.

Tana Stone doesn’t write stories that are less than awesome. She also writes in my favorite genre which is “Alien “ and she is a one click , go to, author for me, and everyone can find their favorite series among her books. Weather it’s the Drexian brides,Inferno Force, or the wonderful Barbarians of the sand planet or my new favorite the Academy series! But for those of you that love a little more gore and grit there are the Tatori and the Vandar. This book is part of the Vandar series. This is the long awaited story of Theia , part of a group of female friends that fight in resistance forces against the evil Empire. The Vandar are a group of rouge alien warriors also fighting against evil ( which there is a lot of) Each book follows a different human female character and the Vandar that steals her heart. Every book is spicy and full of adventure with characters that you are quickly vested in. I have read all of Tana Stones books that she has written thus far and listened to several on Audible. I hadn’t listened to any from this “Vandar” series until now and I discovered that this series is even better when read audibly.Part of the reason for this was the narration, it was brilliant, I listen to a lot of books, but was unfamiliar with the narrators of this book, but I will definitely be on the lookout for more books narrated by these two. I recommend this ( and every Tana Stone ) book. I promise you will love this or any of her series you choose to read but please start reading the series from book 1 the stories will be so much richer and enjoyable if you start at the beginning.

exciting!

The story is exciting and well written. The characters are awesome. The world building is outstanding. I loved the book but listening to it being brought to life by Marcio Catalano and Chloe Ryan was amazing! The way they read it with the right inflections and attitude was *chef kiss* perfection! I will be looking for more audiobooks by Tana Stone but also more read by Marcio and Chloe! AWESOME!

Enemies to lovers perfection

The enemies to lovers, alien with a side of dangerous stalker romance of Thea and Kaiven was a fun, steamy, and suspenseful read. In my opinion for an enemies to lovers story to work, the author has to straddle a fine line of sexy animosity without tipping into meanness or abuse. In this book this balance was done perfectly. Thea and Kaiven’s you get on my nerves banter was so fun to read. Kaiven is the battle chief of a Kyrie Vandar horde. Thea is a human mechanic with the Valox Resistance that is working on the Vandar ship while they plan a joint attack in the Empire. Thea and Kaiven do not get along and have difficulty even being in the same room without sniping at each other. When an insane mercenary fixates on Thea and is hunting her, Kaiven is assigned to transport her to safety. Unfortunately, they are captured on the way there. As the danger and suspense heats up, so does their overwhelming attraction and chemistry and the slide into lovers. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline. There were sweet moments, steamy scenes, fighting, dangerous situations, alien physiology and cultures, painful pasts, drama, snark, plot twists, and laughs. I love this series and all the growly Vandar warriors who are no match for human females.

Marcio Catalano and Chloe Ryan did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. I love the growly Vandar voice and sassy Thea’s.

Excellent Story!

The audio version of Protector by author Tana Stone has been given new life with the more than capable narrations of
Marcio Catalano and Chloe Ryan.
Marcio’s rendition of MMC Kaiven’s character sent shivers down my spine, in a good way!
This ninth book in the series follows leads Thea and Kaiven as they dance around their attraction for each other as the rest of the universe goes boom.
With plenty of action, adventure, romance, intrigue, spice, and danger seamlessly flowing from chapter to chapter it was easy to visualize the events as they played out in another spectacular Vandar Warlords entry.

Exciting!!!!

Protector is book 9 of the Raider Warlords of Vandar series. We revisit the characters from book 7: Prodical and book 8: Prisoners. This book did not disappoint. From enemies to lovers, forced proximity, being chased through space by a madman, spicy banter and chemistry between the strong FMC and a hot brooding MC. It was such an entertaining and enjoyable audiobook, I couldn't stop listening. The narrators performance brought the book to life. I highly recommend this book and in fact the whole series.

I wanted more

i loved them all . I loved how they stared out and how they ended , kept me on my toes and the heated part made me want to leson to more of them ..
