Danica Jones never imagined that she would become an unemployed widow in her thirties.
But here she is, raising her young son on her own, trying to piece her life back together three years after it was turned upside down.
She packs what is left of their belongings, fitting them into an RV that depleted the last of her savings, and summons the courage to return to the small coastal town in Maine where the three of them vacationed every year up until Levi died in a tragic boating accident.
She hopes that Haven Harbor will allow her to heal, offer space to breathe, and be a place to make memories with her son for the summer.
Their campsite is quiet and peaceful.
Perfect for nights around the campfire and relaxing with a glass of wine. Her new neighbor, Drew, occupies the campsite next to hers and seems like the kind of guy that will keep to himself. However, she quickly becomes drawn to him in a way that she is not prepared for. He is handsome and charming, and Danica is happy to have someone to call a friend in a town where she knows no one.
Things seem to be going well.

Drew has a secret of his own. Something that he should have told Danica from the beginning.
After a shocking truth is exposed, Danica is left questioning everything.
