Sweet Romance!

This is the third novella in the Harland Creek series. I like this series. This is another great addition to the series. Gabriela and Colin's story is sweet, romantic, and heartwarming. E.L. Beckett did a great job with the narration. Looking forward for more in the series.

This is a darling little story. I quite enjoyed the antics of Colin and Gabriella and their love story. I was happy the two of them found each other. There's a surprise ending. So, make sure to read it to the end.

Side note: I loved that the sewing club took place in a room full of books. Oh, and the food! Cornbread. Yum.

I was gifted an audio book from the author. I leave this review of my own accordance.

Amazing book

Always enjoyed listening to the Promise books. Couldn’t put it down and the narrator was amazing. I promise you will definitely love these books.

Love Harland Springs♡♡

Harlan Creek, a warm Southern town, is full of nearly perfect characters, fighting against falling for each other, and this book's former model and English stud book store owner fit the town's profile. In this series, while some characters of previous books make cameo appearances, they function as stand alones...the different books in the series are not unravelling a meta-narrative. Fun. Warm. Charming. Clean. Lightly Christian.

(Narrator's male characterizations could use some work to make them sound more masculine.)

Cute story about budding hope, budding love and a trust

Gabriela is generally shunned by the town, whereas everyone is interested in Colin, who recently moved to Harland Creek from England.
Almost all eligible ladies swoon over Colin - except Gabriela, who just tries to get by doing her own thing.

This is a sweet romance that also tackles trickier topics, such as judgment and bias, who is to be believed and what that does to a person.
All in all, it’s a really fun sweet romance. There are a few spots here and there that seem a little on the nose or heavy handed, but I enjoyed the story overall, hearing about Gabriela’s past following her through this book’s events.

The narration is pleasant to listen to, there were no issues.
