Publisher's summary
[Contains mature themes] Free for a limited time. Step into iconic relationship therapist Esther Perel's office and listen as 10 anonymous couples in search of insight bare the raw, intimate, and profound details of their story. From infidelity to sexlessness to loss, it’s a space for people to be heard and understood. It’s also a place for us to listen and feel empowered in our own relationships. So…where should we begin?
About Esther:
Esther Perel is recognized as one of today’s most insightful and provocative voices on personal and professional relationships. A celebrated psychotherapist who has helmed a private practice in New York City since 1983, she has over three decades of experience navigating the intricacies of love and desire.
A Note from Esther:
Too often couples live like isolated islands. We think what we’re experiencing in our own relationship is unique to us, and we don’t know that our neighbors and friends are experiencing the same longings, laments, deprivations, and disillusionments in their own lives.
There is no school for relationships, no place for us to learn the tools for rebuilding and repair, to learn to straddle the many contradictions that roil in all of us. Where Should We Begin? Is a way for me to create meaningful, deep, and open conversations. As you listen to these intimate, unscripted sessions between real-life couples, I think you will find the language you’ve been looking for to have conversations with the people in your own life.

Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

Amazing woman, amazing content...
Esther Perel knows all the tricks to make a relationship work, and if it's good... it will get better!!! I'm so blessed to have found her early in my relationship and all her talks, videos, interviews, books and now this Audible Original "Where should we begin?" is a sample of how seing the relationships from a more mature point of view could actually help to make it grow better and stronger. To be true to yourself and to your partner. I love her work and I'm a huge fan. I can't wait for her to release some other books and programs, in my native language... Spanish.

Writing the same review of the whole set of these
So I'm not going to review each of these individually. They're all a great listen and I can't recommend one over the others. If you're in a place in your relationship where you're not happy and looking for steps you could take these are a great place to start. Esther does one-off sessions with these people and helps these see what is going on, and what they can do to change things. You don't have to be going through the exact same scenario to see some common threads, and find bits and pieces that will be helpful to you.
I'm going to leave the same review for each of these as you should really listen to all of them, rather than trying to pick and choose which you might find relevant.
