A fresh take on an old story.

The big predictable reveal comes early. What comes after that is a fresh take on the old "sell your soul to the devil" story. Not spoiling what happens in the second half of the story. Just saying that I liked it a lot.

Side note: The swig and glug in the beginning made me laugh.

a twilight zone for the ears

l love radio plays, and old 1950s black and white television. Imagine hearing those original twilight zone stories expanded, adapted, and refreshed. If I had discovered these plays before the original series, I would still be a fan of these timeless stories.

An Expensive Bargain

A great episode. A newspaper editor of a failing paper gets more than he bargained for when he makes a deal with the devil. Wonderful cast and a great story.
