Loved the Island

This book had been sitting on my TBR for a while, popping up in my recommendations every so often. I honestly have no idea why it took me so long to finally pick it up. I went in mostly blind, knowing only that the cover was stunning and that it was a Dark Romance, but that’s all I needed to hook me. I’m so glad I dove in, though, because it turned out to be absolutely perfect. The way it combines the survival of the fittest with dark romance is brilliant—what a combination!

The balance between plot, character development, and spice was spot on. I loved how the story built, taking its time to develop the characters and their intense dynamics, while still keeping the tension high and the stakes even higher. It was captivating from start to finish, and the emotional rollercoaster was real. There’s something about a dark romance that hits differently, especially when it’s done right. And trust me, this one was done right.

The twists were absolutely gripping, especially that jaw-dropping ending that I never saw coming. I’m still processing everything, and I can’t wait to pick up the next book to see where this story goes next. Rhea, you’ve completely outdone yourself with this one, and I’m officially a fan. You’ve just become one of my new favorite authors, and I can’t wait to dive into all your other books. Excuse me while I go on a binge-reading spree.

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the start, and I loved every second of it. How this goes from a school trip to Alaska, with secret alternative motives, to full blown survival of the fittest had me reeling. Tensions are high, secrets unfold and emotions are all consuming. I was feeling every emotion imaginable and my brain was buzzing trying to connect all the dots. I was absolutely wrecked by the end of this book.

CAPTIVATING, EMOTIONAL, THRILLING

First off, I LOVED the narrator for London! She was so perfect and I kept forgetting I was even listening to an audiobook. It felt like I was back on that Island after reading it the first time. All of the emotion in her voice is so powerful. Five stars for the entire performance.

Overall, this story is just so good. I couldn't stop listening until it was done!! I highly recommend if you like being on the edge of your seat. Everyone needs to listen to this!

Great Story!

Let me say that this book will take you by surprise! It was nothing as I was expecting but I loved it! It's truly a story about the survival of the fittest. The narrator did a great job.

Amazing!

I read Pretty Little Island back in August and absolutely loved it! Rhea Ryan is an amazing author. I work a lot and don’t always have enough time to read anymore and listening to audiobooks has been absolutely amazing because I get to listen while I work. This audiobook was great to listen to. I highly recommend listening to Pretty Little Island!

Romantic Suspense

I;ve never read a romantic suspense like this! So much mystery even for teenagers in high school just living their lives before they become stranded in the middle of nowhere in winter. The twist and pull of trying to survive and adding the drama that most teenagers would have, especially of choosing between twin brothers.

This is my second time reading this book, but first time listening to it on audio!

I did the “double trouble” (immersion) reading experience…. Audio and physical at the same time! I had to do it because twins IYKYK I also did the physical at the same time because I wanted to annotate it!

I still feel the same way about this book since the first time I read it, but I love it even more just because the narrator did such a phenomenal!

Honestly, I was a little nervous because I knew it was going to be one female narrator the whole time and I really wanted a male narrator for the twins but she did such a phenomenal job. I’m in love with her voice!

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves survival romances with a little bit of sharing between twin brothers. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this book!

Wild and spicy

Rhea did an outstanding job with this book! Overall 5 star rating and 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 for spice! I will not give any Spoilers but I feel for Lyndon. It's defiantly a dog eat dog world out there on the Island. Scarlet Love was a perfect pick to narrate this book!

This was a wild story!

Wow, was not expecting all those twists and turns! Overall, this has me completely engaged, needing to know what came next. I usually don't care for single narration, but since the writing was more like a retelling of the events, it worked very well! Narrator was excellent!

so intense, moving, and amazing

I don't think I can say enough good things about this book. The plot is so intense that I was filled with tension through every part of the book. The story took me through all the emotions, and my heart broke so much at the end. The story is written so well, and it flows perfectly. I was able to completely envision each of the characters, and feel the fear, love, hate, and anxiety that they felt in their struggle to survive. This book left me in tears, and I cannot wait to read the next one. I listened to this book on audible, and the narrator is very good. She has a calming kind of voice, which actually helps build the tension in the story I think. Her inflections as she narrates different characters are done very well.
