Put Your Kids First: Practical Coparenting with a Narcissist
Co-parenting with a narcissist is relentless. You can’t change them, but you can change how you respond—and that makes all the difference.
If you’ve ended a relationship with a narcissist (or plan to), you know they won’t suddenly become a cooperative, empathetic parent. Though free from their direct control, their manipulation and gaslighting can continue—primarily through your children.
They may sabotage your parenting, manipulate your kids, or fight for custody despite lacking true commitment. In extreme cases, they might attempt parental alienation, turning your children against you.
Do You Feel…? Overwhelmed by constant manipulation? Desperate to shield your kids from toxicity? Eager to set firm boundaries without escalating conflict?
You’re not alone. Many parents face the same exhausting struggles. But there is hope—and a path forward to empower you while protecting your children.
Introducing: Practical Coparenting with a Narcissist
This guide provides actionable strategies to reduce conflict, set boundaries, and raise emotionally healthy children despite a narcissistic co-parent.
Inside, You’ll Discover: 8 Types of Narcissism—how each manipulates, their impact, and strategies to counter them. Legal & Financial Safeguards—navigating custody battles, parenting plans, and financial protection. Boundary-Setting Techniques—how to maintain firm limits without provoking retaliation. Communication Tactics That Work—including DEEP, BIFF, Grey Rock, and Yellow Rock methods. How to Protect Your Kids—legally, emotionally, and psychologically from manipulation and abuse. The Shift from Co-Parenting to Parallel Parenting—helping kids thrive with minimal contact. Rebuilding Confidence & Identity—regaining strength after emotional abuse. Overcoming Advanced Challenges—like smear campaigns, legal traps, and mental health manipulation.

Protecting My Kids Was My Priority <3
My biggest fear was how my ex's behavior was affecting my kids. This book gave me tools to shield them from the emotional roller coaster. I learned how to communicate (or rather, limit communication) in a way that minimizes conflict. The strategies are straightforward and make sense. I feel more confident in my ability to create a stable environment for my children.

I Wish I'd Found This Sooner!
Honestly, I was skeptical. I've read so many parenting books, but none addressed the unique challenges of dealing with a narcissistic ex. This one did. It validated my experiences and gave me clear steps to take. It's not a magic wand, but it's the closest thing I've found. Save yourself some heartache and listen to this book.

Finally Understanding the Patterns!
One of the most helpful things about this audiobook was understanding the underlying patterns of narcissistic behavior in a co-parenting context. It wasn't just about dealing with specific incidents, but recognizing the common tactics and motivations. This knowledge has been incredibly empowering, allowing me to anticipate and respond more effectively, rather than constantly being caught off guard.
