Better organization

Great info, entertainingly presented, but all over the place and somewhat difficult to follow. Stream of consciousness doesn't work for this kind of book.

Poison, Americas past time

Seems there’s plenty to learn as far as killing people with poison. I enjoy chemistry. I have purchased lots of books about it. This one was interesting and enjoyable. If you enjoy murder by poison give it a roll.

This was a great book! I did get kind of bored when it got into history of people poisoning each other, but when it got back to poisoning and poisons in general, it was very enlightening. I particularly liked the concept that the black plague may, in fact, not have been the bubonic plague, but it may in fact have been due to a poison from rye plants! Always intriguing to learn about more to research!

So Utterly Boring

Everything about this book should have been interesting…instead it was utterly and completely boring. The prose is dry as dust and the narrator wasn’t much better. I guess I’m glad I got this as a free selection because if I hadn’t, that would’ve been one credit extremely poorly spent.
