About this listen

My sister gave herself to the raider warlord to save me. Now I’m hunting him down and getting her back.

I’ve never forgiven myself for letting that brute drag her off my ship, and I’ve done nothing but search for his horde of warships since he let my ship go free.

Everyone knows the Vandar raiders are cruel and merciless, so when my ship is attacked by another of the alien race’s warlords, I expect to be blown out of the sky. Instead, he takes me as his captive.

I may be the warlord’s prize, but no way will I submit to his demands. Even if his hard body and fiery eyes ignite a desire in me like nothing have before.

Despite my captivity, I’m still determined to find my sister. This Vandar warrior might not have her, but he knows who does. If I can give him what he wants, maybe he’ll help me find her. But can I risk letting him control more than my body? Can I risk him plundering my heart?

Plundered is a full-length sci-fi romance novel with a HEA and no cheating. It features steamy scenes on a raider warship, heart-pounding space battles, and some serious enemies-to-lovers heat.

If you like dominant and dangerous alien warriors, alien abduction to seduction romance, and hot scenes with a happily-ever-after, you’ll love Plundered, the second book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Raider Warlords of the Vandar series. Each book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

Riveting

The characters were easy to follow and enjoy. I really enjoy these types of personalities, they are always such fun. Yet again Tana has written another great and exciting book. The narrators have preformed perfectly I was thrilled the same narrators are working with books one - six. I am hoping to experience more of their work in other series. I absolutely loved and recommend this book.

MFC was a petulant brat.

sorry I didn't enjoy this as much as the others. the MFC is narrow minded and refuses to ever think or use her brain beyond her own narrow personal experiences. otherwise I enjoyed this series as a whole. but Terra as a person, meh

Sassy Sexy Fun

I love these books and adore the active dual narration! Marcio Catalano is now on my list of favorite male narrators so I'll be checking out other books he has voiced.

As for the story, this one was great fun and I enjoyed how sassy they both were. I was afraid it was going to be a repeat of the first book or a boring "stuck alone on a ship" tale, but was really surprised and pleased with the direction it took and the full cast of characters. I'm really looking forward to the next book!

I LOVE this SERIES!!!

This is a fantastic series. I love how the author took a family of brothers and wrote about each one being a warlord and incorporating the other characters into the storyline. The narrators are fantastic and present the story to the audience with such professionalism that makes you feel you are a part of the story. I cannot wait for book three.

Such a great series !

This series is one of Tana Stone’s best. The characters are intense, strong and super gorgeous both male and female. This is the second book in the series and we find Astrid”s sister in the hunt for her but what she finds is her own infuriating Vandar warrior. Marcio Catalano and Addison Barnes do a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. Marcio has an amazing voice that brings the vandar warrior depth and emotion. Totally recommend.

“You seem to have forgotten that you are my captive!”

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🫢😤😡😊

The heroine: Tara - after losing their parents when they were in their teens, Tara took it upon herself to take care of her younger sister Astrid. She often had to do things in order to survive, but after winning a cargo ship in a high stakes card game, they had a place of their own and a way to make money. Since Astrid got taken captive by a Vandar warlord, Tara has been searching for her.

The Hero: Raas Kaalek - He is the commander of a Vandar Horde and brother to Raas Kratos from Possessed. He is a dominant alpha male with a hard body and a tail. He spends his time fighting against the Zagrath who are determined to take over every planet in the galaxy.

The Story: Raas Kaalek doesn’t like that his brother Raas Kratos took a human captive and let the rest of the crew on the cargo ship go. So he is determined to find the ship and make them pay for sending the Zagrath after Kratos. However, when he finds and boards the ship, he finds Tara alone and takes her captive.

Like Possessed, this book is told in dual points of view using duet narration which is the best way to go and my personal favorite. In duet narration, both narrators always read the same characters, similar to how it is done in full-cast or radio play productions. This was narrated by Marcio Catalano and Addison Barnes and both did a great job and have terrific voices which matched the characters well.

The story was very interesting, Tara and Kaalek end up crash landing on a planet that is being taken over by the Zagrath, so they have to hide among the people until Kaalek’s horde figures out where they are. They find that the people of the planet have a resistance, they can’t directly fight the Zagrath like the Vandar warlords, but they are doing what they can to undermine the Zagrath.

Interesting Story

It was a pleasure listening to this story; it had adventure, romance, humor, and of course drama. The banter between the characters was lighthearted and playful. Female character wasn’t nauseating like others encountered in this genre of books. Narrators did a great job with characters. Looking forward to listening to the next book in series.
