Not the best Heather Graham I've read

I have read other reviews that say that the other books in this series are better. I am not going to give up on this just yet but this book was so dry. It was very hard for me to get into it. I never got wrapped up and just wanted to finish it. The narrator isn't horrible. He isn't great but I didn't have a hard time listening to him. Hoping further books in this series are better.

Interesting plot, but Cummings wasn't a good fit

I liked the story and watching the plot unraveling, but Cummings really doesn't do Louisanan accent well, nor does he do most females justice. I recommend this book based on the plot and knowing Luke Daniels does the next one.

Great Story with a Twist

I enjoyed Phantom Evil. It wasn't so heavy in the fantasy realm as to be totally unbelievable. Good characters and good narration. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Beginning of What should be a good series

Would you listen to Phantom Evil again? Why?

Yes, because I enjoy the paranormal mystery and romance written in it. However, the dialogue is very bland and gets annoying after awhile.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jackson Crow. Because he's tough, sexy, and in charge.

What aspect of Jeffrey Cummings’s performance would you have changed?

Jeffrey Cummings did not seem to know how to do his accents for the different people very well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The story got very confusing because the accents weren't consistent. They were more of a texan south accent with some Jamaican, rather than Louisiana south.

Fantastic

Not only is this a great book… The narrator is superb. I think one of the best I've ever heard. The ability to change and make each character their own.I'm just happy that only the first one. I can't wait to read and listen to the rest

Great short listen

This is the second one of hers that I have listened to. It's a nice and easy listen with a little mystery and suspense. I love the narration and love the characters. Good overall book.

Voodoo preistess and Ghost hunters

An amazing suspense chocked full of who, what and why! Set in the South, in New Orleans where rumours run rampant with Voodoo and conjuring Ms. Graham weaves her magic and you are swept away! Love her style and substance and can't wait to read more

Enjoyable but not Exciting!

I'm not sure what to say! The story was average and the narration unmoving to me. However I admit I was able to retain the names and characters as separate entities. That is a feat in and of itself.!
