Peter Pan gone insane, I like it

This dark take on Peter Pan (which some consider already a troubled character) is a twisted tale that is worth the listen. The typical Peter Pan story, but with a killer twist where Wendy, Peter, & the lost boys take revenge of the murder of a beloved friend by Hook & his cronies. Its enjoyable & does not lose the magic of the original story. The ending is perfect, & such a nice finale. The narrator does a great job & has the perfect voices for the characters. I really recommend this! This is a quick & easy read that manages to pack a punch. The writing is simple to understand & fit the characters.

Thought Provoking and Non-conventional Tale!

Neverland and the adventures of Peter Pan take a dark turn in this audiobook as Peter Pan and Captain Hook progress their adversarial roles took a higher level. The bright, fun aspects of Neverland become dark, deadly and nightmarish. One must ask, will Peter Pan and his Lost Boys survive or will Captain Hook finally prevail? Only time will tell in this darkened version!

The author, Will Savive, masterfully subverts the light-hearted fairy tale, unveiling a darker, revenge-driven narrative filled with unexpected twists. His writing style is immersive and cinematic—rich in detail yet leaving space for the reader’s imagination. With lyrical prose, sharp pacing, and a strong sense of atmosphere, he crafts vivid scenes that linger long after the story ends. His richly developed characters and bold perspectives challenge conventional storytelling, offering a fresh, thought-provoking take on familiar themes. His dialogue is authentic as well.
