I love the continuity of these characters. Bujold writes thoughtfully, with humor and insight. always a pleasure to enter the world of the five gods with Pen and Dez. Grover Gardner is perfect, as always.

Another wonderful Pen and Desdemona story!
Saint McMaster Bujold gives us another amazing short adventure. While listening to the final paragraphs I found myself hoping that she is taking great care of her health so she can continue to bless us with fantastic stories for many more years.

The warm heart fuzzies

Another Pen and Des Delight!
Bujold could probably make her grocery list engrossing but she goes ahead and writes interesting characters, moral dilemmas, and adventures anyway.

Another wonderful Penric & Desdemona story
These charming Penric & Desdemona tales are so full of wit, wisdom and grace. Their only weakness is that they end too soon. Beautifully read by Grover Gardner as always.
