Publisher's summary

Paul Temple, the creation of Francis Durbridge, was one of radio's most popular sleuths. He and his glamorous wife Steve inhabit a sophisticated world where they sip well-chilled cocktails, where Sir Graham Forbes of Scotland Yard always sends for Paul when the going gets tricky, and where Paul's incisive mind picks up every one of the carefully strewn clues.

The Conrad Case takes Paul and Steve to Bavaria to help find Betty Conrad. But their only clue is an unusual cocktail stick found in her finishing school bedroom.

Can Paul work it out?

Wonderfully portrayed!

Would you listen to Paul Temple and the Conrad Case (Dramatized) again? Why?

I enjoyed the first book, Paul Temple and the Geneva Affair, and got hooked. The full cast dramatization was excellent. I felt I was right there while the story was unfolding.

What other book might you compare Paul Temple and the Conrad Case (Dramatized) to and why?

I actually compared this to the Thin Man series. The team of Paul and Steve reminds me so much of Nick and Nora Charles. The really work well together.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Steve is my favorite character.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

"By Timothy!" or "Where's Charlie fishing? In the Thames!"

I love Paul Temple mysteries!

Would you consider the audio edition of Paul Temple and the Conrad Case (Dramatized) to be better than the print version?

Definately

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not that suspenseful, but great fun to listen to

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I used to listen to these on public radio back in the late 1980's and was delighted to rediscover them via Audbile.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where's Peggy Conrad gone to today?
