Listen… I don’t even leave reviews but this story…. It took me by surprise. The first chapter. I was like my gawd… but I kept listening. I was at work and ended up getting confused so I started over and really listened. I was hooked up until the last seconds. It’s definitely worthy of listen.

Amazing

This story was amazing, didn’t really like the ending but over all amazing. Great job.. it needs a second book, with less action more romance..

just as good as I remember.

I read this book when it first came out and loved it. I'm not a book reader so I knew I was never going to read it again. I'm so glad it is on audio. After listening to it my mind on the book as not changed. I'm hoping that the sequel will be on audio soon.

a fantastic read

The narrator read with impeccable skill. His voice could transfix this audible until a visual fantasy for me. It became a movie. ,❤️💯

The Reality that was entirely too close to home

After several attempts, I finally was able to complete this book. It mirrored too closely, my experience, not only with Black gay love, but also domestic violence. If Lee was to read this, I can only wish to thank him. Even though for me, this was a long time coming it was a healing that I didn’t know that I needed. I would also like to think the actor who read the performance. It was truly right on time.

Passion marks

As a game, who is a huge fan of drama, thriller, and suspense movies. I am beyond happy with this book. I really want the author as well as the narrator to please do more of these type of audiobooks. I am so off that this was the only one like this.😩 I NEED MORE!!!!!

Just wow!

The very first chapter is a intense hook and had me glued. I would understand how this book isn't for everyone, but for the POC in the LGBTQ+ community this mirrors their life to a T. Thank you Lee for being fearless in this piece because I know it took guts to tell this story.

Okay story…

This was an okay story, but I thought that it was a bit too “PG 13” for me! I also didn’t care for the narrators voice… overall though it brought some light to the fact that domestic violence comes in all forms, and facets! I’m happy that this author did show that.
