About this listen

I’ve never been so humiliated in my life.

My twin brother is the definition of a lost soul. And it bothers me, sure...but I didn’t even know he was out of jail until a steamy older bounty hunter showed up at my workplace, looking for him.

And tackled me to the ground in his place.

Now I’m out of a job and gunning for my brother, and there’s only one person I know who can help me find him - the bounty hunter who got me in this situation to start with.

They say that the enemy of your enemy is your friend, but I’m not sure that teaming up with Neo feels all that friendly. He’s my opposite in every way - I’m younger, he’s older; I’m loud, and he’s the strong, silent type. I’m omega...and he’s all alpha.

The more I get to know Neo, the less I want to be his enemy. But we’re only together for one purpose: To catch my brother.

Right?

Good story!

I liked the story. I've actually loved the whole Knitting series. Tucker is an Omega and Neo is the Alpha bounty hunter trying to catch his twin brother. The beginning got off to a rocky start in the story, but it picked up and ended well with their HEA. The narration was a little hard to get into but by the end of it I had gotten used to the vocalization.

A solid, enjoyable alpha/omega story

This story came a long way from the awkward coffee-shop meet-cute-turned-takedown at the beginning. I'm always a little nervous when I start a new alpha/omega book because they sometimes have a tendency to be too insta-love for me. To my delight, this story had a much slower, realistic pace. Neo and Tucker weren't immediately likable guys, but they did grow on me throughout the book. What started out as a funny, fake-boyfriend style story turned into a much deeper, satisfying romance with unexpected danger at the end. I really enjoyed the way this book evolved into something much bigger than I was expecting. This narrator is not the most expressive one I've listened to, but I thought he did a great job with the story and had me even more invested in this couple's happily ever after. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, and I'm looking forward to diving into the rest!

great story

This was a low angst book which I enjoyed. Tucker's twin has gotten into some trouble which has now caused trouble for tucker.
Neo is a bounty hunter looking for Tucker's brother. When he accidentally mistakes Tucker for his brother ann kinds of trouble starts.Like tucker losing his job. So now Tucker is mad and wants his brother caught so he must help Neo catch him. The two head off on an adventure to help each other. I really enjoyed this book. I had trouble with the narration. The charters all seemed to have the same voice and accents and some times I had trouble telling who was speaking.

Really liked this story!

I really like Neo and Tucker's story. They are very sweet together! I like that characters from the first book make appearances especially Granny Harper. I would definitely recommend this one!

Love this series!

I love this series!!! I really enjoyed this story and the slight-enemies to fake boyfriends to lovers storyline. I enjoy getting to know more of the guys in the knitting club and also another loving fun and sassy grandma is amazing. I really enjoyed reading this story and it’s a good listen. I wish that the narrator gave more discernible voices to the characters. I had to listen closely to figure out who was the voice at the time/who was the MC giving his thoughts.

OK listen

The story was ok, and narration was done well in my opinion. I did find it a little hard to get into it and I just didn't find it very interesting but it's not a bad listen.

Broome's Books Review

Let me start with the narrator, Christopher Kauzlarich. Looking at other reviews, you either love him or hate him. I LOVED Christopher Kauzlarich’s narration. His voice is exactly how I imagined Tucker would sound. Soft, considerate, and easy to listen to.
On to the story!
Tucker’s twin brother can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Neo, a bounty hunter, makes an easy mistake, thinking Tucker was who he was trying to find. This gets their romance started. Tucker, even as angry as he is with Neo, he can’t seem to stop thinking about Neo. Even though the man cost him his job.
One thing you should know, Tucker is an omega and Neo is an alpha. They dance around each other in the beginning, but they compliment each other well. Tucker doesn’t bend to Neo’s will. He challenges the older man. Their chemistry intensified as the story progressed and they had some steamy romance scenes.
Overall, this was a quick and fun read.

Neo and Tucker

Terrific second book. Neo surprised me. I was expecting the cocky, self sure guy from the first book. He was actually thoughtful and gentle with Tucker. Tucker's vacillation on turning his brother in felt genuine. I loved that he jumps in to help Cass at every opportunity. I'm hoping his brother finds some redemption.

Audiobook: The narrator did a great job but the audio quality had some occasional issues. Obviously it is the production company, not the narrator nor the author.

Enjoyable

Sometimes I have a hard time getting into a book due to the narrator. I hadn't listened to anything read by this narrator. It took me a while to get into it, but I did and was glad for it.

I ended up listening to this one first. Although, it was the second in the series it can be read as a standalone.
It's an Mpreg read.
It was nice to see their relationship being built. It was not an insta-love type of romance because they certainly got off on the wrong foot, but it ended with an HEA.

Neo & Tucker

Neo is a bounty hunter who is after Tucker’s twin brother. Neo & Tucker meet when Neo mistakes Tucker for his twin brother and accosts him at his job. Tucker decides to help Neo find his twin so they decide to fake a relationship. Faking a relationship turns into so much more as they spend more and more time together and really get to know one another. The narrator was great with both the story and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.
