quick, but oh so good

frost delivers again. this could easily turn into a new series. well written, well paced, classic frost. And the narrator is The BEST! wish there was more.

Surface

The story was good, however I didnt connect with the characters on a deeper level as I would of liked to. I didn't feel their struggles and emotions or identify with them.

Good but Short

This was good, but seriously too short. I did thoroughly enjoy the short story and short romance!

No satisfying conclusion

Really needed an epilogue!! Her first change, running with the pack, first visit since change with her family, etc.

Loved the story line.

I enjoyed not only the story line and character development, I really enjoyed the reader.

Fine for a novella

It was easy to listen while doing chores…did wish it was a little longer.

If you’re looking for something short length and feel-good, this is your book. The story is simple and straightforward. It’s a good palate cleanser/filler book. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a book that’s an hour and a half long.

Interesting Story

This is a short story that introduces the reader to Jeaniene Frost's amazing paranormal world. It is a fun story full of interesting characters that I hope to meet again in her other books.
However the reader was a little weird. I often felt like she was trying to make her voice quiver and it just came across as annoying more than interesting. Other than that, her reading was good.
