Amazing story!!!!

I love this freaking book!!! From start to finish, it was AMAZING! The narrator was so great. Her voice was soothing and added to the story, giving it a little bit more than reading it yourself. She changed voices for each character but it wasn’t overly acted so it was pleasant. I highly recommend this story and this audiobook!!!!

Dark & Spicy

If you love a good dark romance, with a lot of spice, and some shifter trope, this one’s for you! The story kept me engaged and I loved the narrator… if you’re a fan of Diaz from Brooklyn 99, then you have to hear this narrators Melanie!

We All Need An Xavier!!!

I loved the entire story that Ms. Mann told in Out Of The Darkness. From the first spoken word to the last, you are on a rollercoaster of a mix of emotions, highs to lows, laughter to tears. You will fall in love with Madelyn and Xavier's story and wanting an Xavier in your life too 💜🔥💜🔥💜🔥🥰

EDIT: I neeeeed a continuation of Madelyn and Xavier's story including their child, what they had, how the child grew up, etc. please and thank you :)

I loved this story...

when I first read this book last year, I loved it! gobbled it right up. I didn't like the audiobook, though. that might just be on me, to be quite honest.

she's mated to a wolf, but doesn't know it. he's been stalking her... and people she loves are dying. her police officer bestie thinks she should report him and stay TF away from him, but she just can't. there's something about him that she's drawn to. and then he tells her what he is and why they feel the way they do about each other. the only problem is, is that when he left his "pack", there were people who wanted revenge against him. she's kidnapped by this group and buried alive. but does he get there in time to save her...

the storyline is great. I think, for me, one narrator is what ruined it for me. I still love the story though

Better as an audio!

I previously read this on my kindle but I’m so glad I got to do a reread with the audiobook. You know it’s a good story when you don’t get bored at any part the second time around even though you know what happens. Typically I prefer diet style narrations when there are male and female characters but Kat still did a great job with all the parts! I didn’t get confused with who was speaking. My only negative comment would be that it felt like Kat was too “formal” with her speech and over annunciating the text. While thats super important so that it’s clear and listeners can understand, I personally prefer when it sounds a bit more natural and more like an actual conversation rather than it being obvious that someone is just reading text but that’s my personal opinion! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys darker romantasy vibes.

What else can I say except, “Wow!!!!!!!!!!” I could not stop reading this book! I found myself wanting to stay home instead of going to work; I was that invested in the storyline. Even though Xavier started out as the stalker, I love how he eventually won Madelyn’s heart and loved how she came to understand and accept him which led to their happy ending. I cannot wait to read some more of Ms. Mann’s works.
