Publisher's summary

Novelist and scholar Freddie Lee Johnson III is widely acclaimed for his gritty, dramatic stories and careful attention to issues of race. With Other Men's Wives, Johnson creates a powerful novel of love, lust, and deception. Denmark Wheeler survived a rough childhood on the streets of Cleveland to prosper as an adult. Then one day a DVD turns up on his front doorstep, revealing an explicit sexual encounter between his wife and a man whose face is concealed. Consumed by rage, he searches for the other man.

Just Excellent

Normally, I only listen to my audiobooks when I am on the road or waiting for an appointment. With this book, I just had to bring the MP3 player inside of my home and listen to this story at every opportunity. We need more of these Freddie Lee Johnson books. Just Excellent

Ezra Knight - The narrator - yummy :)

This story was very good and it kept my attention BUT I must admit.... I LOVE the voice of Ezra Knight! I wish more audiobooks were read by him..... Back to the story.... It has a very good ending and the story was interesting.... I could not stop listening to it! (It helped with that sexy voice of Ezra Knight too! LOL)

Wow!

Wow - this book was "deep". It had lots of drama, sex and humor if you can believe that. Ezra Knight is an awesome narrarator. He gave each character their individual persona and pulled you into this book. The plot was very intriguing and satisfying. I found myself laughing a lot and being shocked the rest of the time. Brace yourself for a roller coaster read!

Just ok!

The book was a good listen. It contained a lot of excess verbage that didn't contribute to or help the overall plot. I was able to tune out a lot of it. The author spent so much of the begining of the book raving about the mans love for his wife you almost knew that it would change because there was nowhere else for the plot to go.

Great Story!

This was really a great story and shows what can happen when we take matters into our own hands all in the name of 'revenge'. And the main character, Denmark, finds out the hard way exactly what that means. I love Freddie Lee Johnson's books. They keep you on the edge of your seat.

Why???

As I listened to this book, I wondered, "Why did I purchase this?" This book is just a man bragging about his success and superiority. Oy! I stopped after a couple of chapters and decided not to buy any more audio books unless recommended by the Ear to the Ground Podcast or I recieve a positive review by a friend!

oh puleeze!

This is one tedious listen. Twists and turns happen at such a pace you might as well be in a donkey cart. The insignificance of the twists and turns and the way every theme is belaboured made this one really hard to put up with. The narrator, though, is excellent.
