The details of how options work is mind blowing to think about

So much good info here. Excited for the journey into options trading. The more you know the better you do!

the author laid out a trading plan that he made sense of as he went through. there were no holes.

great book. it laid out a plan that you could follow to earn weekly income and protect yourself from large losses while allowing you to "sleep at night" it was a fresh look at an options strategy that really makes sense. the author was thorough in his explanation of exactly what to look for and how to setup your positions. solid win. thanks for the help.

Simple, timely strategy for weekly income

Finally! Someone wrote a book without all the fluff and jargon. Just a solid plan to leverage options for producing income.

If you trade options, this will probably be an easy method to learn and use. If you don't, it's a great way to start. You can easily adapt this method to suit any size account, position or trade in any account type whether cash, IRA or margin.

The strategy contains downside protection so there's no worry of big losses. With the market at all-time highs (2024), while I hope it doesn't melt down, it's nice to know the trade contains a hedge that would make a market crash a very profitable thing. That would be a nice change.

About "86% of options expire (worthless)." That's why we focus on profiting from selling option premium rather than buy-and-hope. Plus, this fits my target range of 2-4% return per month with positive income potential regardless if the stock goes up, down or sideways.

I was so glad it wasn't another basic covered call tutorial that I read it start to finish in about 4 hours on a Saturday. I look forward to Monday's market open to implement what I've learned.

Needle in a haystack

I have been looking for a way to trade options safely for several years since I began looking for a way to generate additional income. This simple formula described in this book is the needle in the haystack for me. I have found that everyone on the internet is selling you the dream and they almost all neglect to take the time to clearly describe the risks. They tell you how their favorite strategy works most of the time and neglect to go into appropriate detail around how terribly wrong it could go and what to do about it. After losing money left and right paying people to give me trades, I eventually determined on my own that selling cash-secured puts was safest. But I learned the hard way how wrong it can go if the whole market gaps down. The KaChing formula protects me from that! I have lost thousands of dollars looking for the safe trade. I wish that I discovered this book sooner.
