About this listen

He opened a portal to a parallel Earth where humans don't exist.

For physicist Tim Bowman, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime, but one fraught with peril. Opportunity and danger await, particularly when the local fauna views you as a snack.

Humans may not live here but the mega-fauna of the Pleistocene does, hungry and waiting. But this is nothing compared to what his government back home is planning for him.

Book 1 in an exciting new series, The Hayek Chronicles, by the author of the Corps of Discovery series.

Good except for the virtual voice

Well thought out, good characters. Doesn't rely on a lot of action to move the story along, but the story moves really well.
The virtual voice isn't the worst i've heard, maybe second worst though. It's not human so some of the voices have no differences between character voices, but the writing lets you know who is talking. Also virtual voice has no idea how to pronounce things things like firearms calibers.
