Burn Out

Dr Lily Davenport is a total burn out due to years of fighting the pandemic in New York City. She agreed to be the camp doctor for the summer at a friend’s forest camp for teens. Forest Ranger Chase Fielder is not looking for a relationship but a summer relationship wold be great. A book on the pain of the pandemic and recovery from pain and burnout. Great characters and stories. Marvelous narration.

Great Fun Short Read!

A great little fun read. Like listening to a fun lifetime movie! Really enjoyed it!

Mostly enjoyable

I will start by saying I own every Radclyffe book, she is one of my favorite authors. I liked this book for the most part. Most will disagree with me on this. I had trouble following along with the Marty character. Referring to someone as a them is kinda confusing especially when it is a narration and I’m not actually reading a physical copy. I doubt I would listen to this one again

Lovely story and great narration.

Radclyffe never disappoints. I enjoyed this story very much and I like that she addressed the difficulties the pandemic brought.
I like the narrator too. This is the first time I’ve listen to her performing and I’m looking forward to discover more of her work.

Sweet Summer Story

This is a lovely story about possibilities. The characters are wonderful and the story reads well from beginning to end.

I loved this book!

I've been reading through all of Radclyffe's books and this one was particularly enjoyable. I loved both of the main characters, the tension and the forest setting. I always want everything narrated by Abbey Craden but I thought this narrator was great too and will see what else they have done. *Edited to add: I just finished this book and decided to relisten to it right away.

Loved this book

In fact I don’t think I listened to a Radclyffe book I didn’t like :) I want to read the sequel, I hope she is preparing one.
I loved the MC and the two young ones and their story as well.

Radclyffe always delivers

I grew up in the city and than upstate NY, and this incapsulates both. Radclyffe is always heartfelt and I always enjoy Lula Larkin’s narration. The last time I was home in upstate NY i was out at a bar and I met this hotshot firefighter who was in upstate NY for a week between being shipped out to another region. Apparently he makes $100,000 a year. He actually tried to recruit me to be a wildfire firefighter and gave me his card.

Great story - wrong narrator

This is definitely not the narrator for a Radclyffe book. Great story, but hard to listen to.
