Three-year-old Sophia Lassiter disappears at the playground only to return after 40 frantic minutes - but her mother Jill's relief is short lived. I usually only listen to audible in my car or when I run. This book was so good, I listened to it getting ready for work, cooking in the kitchen, late in the evening....just so I can see what happened! Highly recommend if you like suspense books.

I can't believe I have never heard of this book until now!! I binge on suspense and thriller and psychological thrillers and yet this little gem was here all along?!?? New favorite voice! New favorite book!! Awesome story!! It's a nail biter for sure but such a wild ride!!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic
This book hit me to my very core. I related so much with Jill Lasidor. I've dealt with infertility and pregnancy loss, and currently, my husband and I are waiting to be matched with a little girl to adopt. this book hit all my fears, but the characters' unwillingness to stop her relentless search for her daughter, this reminds me that I, too, can be strong in the face of uncertainty for my child.
this book kept me on my toes, restless for the next moments, and jumpy for the characters to find their ways. if you're looking for a book with great turns and lots of suspense, this is the one for you.
