Intense!

Up all night!
I couldn’t put this book down. It kept me up all night. So well written. Not a dry moment. Suspenseful, thrilling and heart wrenching. Loved it!

Pretty good

I enjoyed the story and the performance was fab. My only problem was, mostly in the beginning, the main character gave so much detail about her feelings that it got boring. But once the story starts picking up and you meet more characters it gets good. The whole time the main character does make you super mad by her actions but I feel this with most books.

It was fine.

I did want to finish the book, so it was good enough, but I felt that some of the characters motives were unrealistic.

Pretty great

The story had me rapt from the beginning. Really easy to listen to & enough intrigue to keep you involved. I found myself finding excuses to keep listening.
The "twist" wasn't quite a twist, but it was good all the same.
I liked this book so much I got 2 more from this author & listened to those in 2 days.

Keeps you guessing.

I kept thinking I knew how it would turn out, but for the most part, l kept thinking there was another possibility which l love. I didn't feel the storyline was entirely believable, which is why l gave it 4 stars instead of 5,. it overall, l enjoyed it and spent every free moment l had listening.

Captures you from the beginning!

this is my second read from this author. I couldn't wait to finish it. The end result definitely shocked me. I thought I had it figured out but it turns out it was definitely not who I thought! Loving this author and cannot wait for more books!

Phenomenal

Not only is this story gripping, the narrator is amazing! The way she reads it with so emotion makes the main character truly come alive and makes you feel the anger she’s feeling. Phenomenal story and phenomenal narration. Definitely recommend.

Meh

I wouldn’t be too quick to call this a “gripping” tale :/ I had expected a story of a mother stopping at no end to find her daughters murderer, with action and twists and character development along the way. This book, however, was rather boring for most of it- just her recollecting memories and talking about her thoughts, with just a few semi interesting happenings along the way. I called a portion of the ending within the first 25%, and the rest by about 65%. Le sigh* hard to find truly gripping psych thrillers any more. Read Anni Taylor! Best author I’ve found for this.

Disappointing

The novel started strong and held my full attention and then it waned so badly. Contradictory feeling and conclusions on Katie’s part. Very week ending.
