it wasn't horrible like others said. while some things are dated, it's not that serious!

Confusing presentation but good ideas

Confusing as to the best audience for this book, maybe best for a professional organizing coach. Lots of ideas but the personal stories

So Good!

I really enjoyed listening through the year of organizing ideas. I was able to apply many of them immediately and rethink several of my existing systems. Excellent read I would recommend to anyone looking to get themselves in order.

Manageable and practical suggestions

I am not naturally organized. Regina broke the how to down into manageable sections for me. I found her suggestions immediately applicable and she helped me understand a way to determine what was important for me to keep and what was not. I am working on my home and am energized about it.

Been listening for over an hour and....

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

nobody

What do you think your next listen will be?

I don't know.

How could the performance have been better?

Cut the crap out. I have been listening for an hour and do not have one useful, practical idea for organizing all my stuff.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. Nice lady, but this book is all fluff, and philosophizing, and listening to this lady crap on forever. This lady is the Robert Kiyosaki of getting organized. She is like telling us how wonderful it is going to be once we get organized, and and she is talking about zen, and telling us how to say 'no', and having us blame our parents because we are messy, or maybe we are doing it to get revenge on our mom and all of this crap, and just on, and on, and on. Was she paid by the word for this book? I have never heard so many words spoken about nothing since the last time I watched the Home Shopping Network.

I expected a book about decluttering my life,but ....

I expected a book that gives me tips about decluttering my life, but instead I got this endless self praise of the author who is telling anecdotes over anecdotes from her life as a professional home organizer.
All this soul searching, blaming your parents and journaling is rather time consuming and depressing and the advice the author gives is flat and superficial (I.e you need a calendar to remember your appointments ) I caught myself jumping forward in the first chapters in order not to waist my precious time with yet another story of her practice or more platitudes. Sorry, but this book will go on the "discard" stack.

Outdated unless you are a senior citizen.

Ever heard of Pinterest or a smartphone? Ideas and suggestions are outdated. Ideas to just organize your stuff into plastic containers and bins. I think the author owns stock in the container store. Better books on this subject available. This was a waste of time and money.
