I'm the only one who can see right through that patented Cal Charm. He's just another player and I'm not game.

So, why the heck did I let him give me an out-of-this-world kiss under the stars the other night? It had to be the magic of the meteor shower. I can't actually like him, right? I simply need to prove Cals stellar kiss was a fluke, and I know how to do it and in just three steps. Should be easy, right? Yeah, famous last words.

Engaging Romance

I was entertained by this story. Based on one of my favorite tropes that of enemies to lovers, I enjoyed the chemistry between April and Cal. I liked that April was strong and sassy, and that Cal wasn't quite the way April pictured him. I appreciated the humor and the nod to an ancient myth. I thought Ashley Rose Kaplan's narration was amazing as she really captured April's personality with her voice. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

A Entertaining, Romantic Read

Thank you to Tara September for allowing me to listen to a copy of this book. I loved my read of this. It was so sweet, romantic, and THE TENSION between the FMC AND MMC. I loved the story, and it felt like something that would happen irl. It was just so wholesome, and I loved every second of it. Did the fmc sometimes annoy me a tad? Yes, but she made up for it. I cannot wait to read more from Tara September in the future.

About the story- I thought the story was cute, and I liked that the Pyramus and Thisbe story wasn’t beaten to death. This was lighthearted and pleasant to read.
About the narrator- I was not impressed by the narrator. Her voice was the same for the main character’s speaking voice and inner thoughts, so it was hard to tell what she was saying out loud and what she was only thinking. I’d classify her voice as okay and her performance poor.

Sweet and Sassy!

Cal and April are accidentally neighbours - let the feuding begin! But one meteor shower and one non-meh kiss later, and things are starting to change. I really enjoyed April and Cal’s back and forth, from their quippy banter to their heart-felt conversations. Ashley Rose Kaplan really brought these two to life, and I truly enjoyed this light and funny story.

*One More Kiss* is the first book in the *Lesson in Love* series, and I couldn't wait to share how much I enjoyed it! The audiobook, narrated by Ashley Rose Kaplan, was a real treat. The narrator did such an amazing job bringing the characters to life and had a knack for doing different voices, which made it even more fun to listen to.

I absolutely love a good young adult college coming-of-age story, and April and Cal are just the sweetest couple! Their banter had me laughing out loud several times. The moment they shared that toe-curling kiss under the meteor shower really kicks off a whirlwind of events for them. April starts to question whether Cal is really the playboy she thought he was – and let’s be honest, who can resist a kiss like that?

Throughout the semester, we get to watch as April tries her best to resist her feelings for Cal, even though she craves him at the same time. On the flip side, Cal has always known that he wants April and patiently waits for her to come to that realization on her own.

The pacing of the story is spot on, making it extremely easy to listen to the whole thing in one sitting. If you’re more into reading, it’s just as easy to pick up the book and breeze through it in one go. It’s such a cozy read, perfect for curling up with on a rainy day. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the narration of Ashley Rose Kaplan

April goes watch the Leonid meteor shower . Cal who lives in the dorm next to April’s at Tasker Hall , Cal also comes along. April finds him attractive, but she thinks he’s a player. While watching the meteor shower they share a kiss and what a kiss it was. After they share another kiss and it’s just as wonderful as first one. Cal now has to convince her, he is not a player.

I love this series

This was a great story and soo funny. I don't usually listen to audio books but the author and the storyline drew me in. I would highly recommend reading the book. The narrator and the voices was a bit too much for me.

One More Kiss by Tara September is a good, and enjoyable steamy college opposites attract enemies to lovers romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line with an easy to read story line. The characters are great, wonderful, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining steamy page turning opposites attract romance read with a happily ever after ending. The narration did a great job at bringing the story to life. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Cal and April

One more kiss is a slow burn college/ next door romance about college students April and Cal. April and Cal are dorm room neighbors and can hear everything through the walls which causes a feud between the two of them. A feud that causes more than just anger to build between them. A great story loved it from start to finish.
