Beautiful & Engaging Love Story

I loved every second of this book. I’m for sure recommending this whirlwind romance novel to friends as THE summer read. The developing characters and how they intertwine and their growth. So special! I so appreciated reflecting on how sexual violence impacts someone throughout their life and seeing how it touches their family and friends. It was so well done how it can be central to the main character but not central to the book. I just loved it. The Author’s Note was beautiful and set the stage for an exceptional debut novel.

I loved so many aspects of this book! What a genuine treat. Honest, authentic, believable, real… Funny, and relatable. And I loved all of the local references… Made me smile throughout! Can’t wait to read Betty’s next books.

this booklist flawless! Betty writes the most amazing but human characters. I am so thankful that there was more to the story than just hooking up. it truly is a story about relationships.

This book is amazing! One second you’ll be crying from the characters and how beautiful their relationship is to feeling so giddy from the slow burn between Theo and Emerson. Hands down one of the top 10 books I’ve ever read, 100% would recommend!
