Amazing performance, fun and steam listen.

A fun, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable romcom from Anna Durand, with some tropical heat thrown in!

One Hot Escape is an extension of the Dixon Brothers as they try their best to set up their friends from afar. Richard is travelling to try to woo a reclusive author to his publishing house in a effort to save his business from scandal. Maddie is taking a desperately needed vacation from her life in general - work, love, play - it's all got her down. When they meet at the resort, they are instantly drawn together, without realizing that there is more than just fate that got them both to be in the same place at the same time.

What I loved about this book was the instant chemistry and attraction that was so much more than just the physical. Maddie and Richard are like two halves of a whole that complement each others souls. They have the complicated, deep conversations, they seem to innately know what the other needs, and they are supportive, deeply, deeply supportive, of each other from day one. There is no way they can give each other up as one night turns into two nights, turns into two weeks, and turns into forever.

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin narrate this thoroughly satisfying audio, and bring Richard and Maddie to life in such an entertaining and interesting way. You can never go wrong listening to these two narrate, and given the quality of the source material, you're in for a real treat if you do the audio version of this book.

You guys, this book was so good! The story, the characters, the narration, everything!Holy hell! I loved Richard and Maddie big time from their first meeting. They were absolutely on fire! You MUST get this book/audiobook!
Do I even need to say how much I loved the voice actors performances? Of course I do! Vanessa and Shane are always amazing at what they do.

This is #4 of the Hot Brits series and it’s a hot one right from the start!
When Maddie and Rick meet at the beach of a holiday resort, they both feel attracted to each other. They act on their desires, but "just for one night". Sure, like that's gonna work!
I loved this story right from the beginning and couldn’t stop listening. Their interaction, their characters and the secondary characters (especially Dexter), simply everything! I really enjoyed this great story and I guess it’s my favourite in this series so far.

As always: great narration by Shane East and Vanessa Edwin!
