Story
Hi, I'm Keshav, and my life is screwed. I hate my job and my girlfriend left me. Ah, the beautiful Zara. Zara is from Kashmir. She is a Muslim. And did I tell you my family is a bit, well, traditional? Anyway, leave that. Zara and I broke up four years ago. She moved on. I didn't. I drank every night to forget her, I called, I messaged, and stalked her on social media. She just ignored me. However, that night, on the eve of her birthday, Zara messaged me. She called me over, like old times, to her hostel room 105.

Story
‘My daughter Siya was kidnapped. Nine months ago,’ Alia said. The police had given up. They called it a cold case. Even the rest of her family had stopped searching. Alia wouldn’t stop looking, though. She wanted to know if I could help her. Hi, I am Keshav Rajpurohit, and I am a disappointment to everyone around me. I live with my parents, who keep telling me how I should a) get married, b) focus on my IPS exams, c) meet more people and d) close my detective agency. But Alia Arora, neighbour and ex-model, wanted my help. And I couldn’t take my eyes off her face … I mean, her case.

Story
In India Positive, best-selling author and columnist Chetan Bhagat brings together essays that work as a manifesto for change. Examining a gamut of subjects—from education to employment, from GST to infrastructure, from corruption to casteism—Bhagat reflects on what we can do right in order to move forward and become a truly modern, progressive country. He expresses in this book his belief that, if we want to see reform, we—as citizens—need to be the solution. If our country is to shine, Bhagat says, we need to stand up and be 'India Positive Citizens'.

This lush novel, set in 1766 England and America, evokes an era ripe with riot and revolution, from the teeming streets of London to the sprawling grounds of a Virginia plantation. Mack McAsh burns with the desire to escape his life of slavery in Scottish coal mines while Lizzie Hallim is desperate to shed a life of sheltered subjugation to her spineless husband. United in America, their only chance for freedom lies beyond the Western frontier - if they're brave enough to take it.

Easy read
The book is interesting, sometimes the accent throws you off but other than that the story was good. I recommend these easy reads for my book clubs for people who are extensively commuting.

Keeps you engaged and guessing
This is my first book written by this author and I quite liked it. The plot was sufficiently engaging to keep me wanting to find opportunities to listen, which is a hallmark of a good audio book. The narrator did a fine job with the accents of the various characters and having lived in Delhi, all the local characters were spot on. I did get a little tired of the American accent for Anjali after sometime but I guess other than finding someone else to do that part, the narrator did the best he could. I will likely try other books by Chetan Bhagat.

A predictable thriller
A predictable thriller rendered decently by Kannan. The book could have been more suspenseful instead is like a soap opera.
